What To Expect
Shifen Waterfall
Walk for an hour to discover the broadest waterfall in Taiwan, recessed within a beautiful forested mountainside setting, 20 metres (66 ft) in height and 40 metres (130 ft) in width. On a sunny day, there is a possibility of catching the view of a rainbow by the waterfall.
Shifen Old Street
Shifen is a town rich in culture and history which provide a nice glimpse at Taiwan's beautiful natural scenery. You can create a Chinese Lantern (天燈) with a wish written on it to release into the sky. Lantern price: TWD 150 / per single color

5.00The views are astonishing, relaxing, and I took many photos. Taiwan has a lot to offer 3 days and 2 nights accomodation are not enough to visit those magnanimous places.

5.00We had Joanna for a driver/guide for the day. The weather was terrible but she kept us in good spirits. We had umbrellas but she had larger (and smaller) ones that we used throughout the day depending on how crowded the places were. She also provided us with rain ponchos - which we truly needed. Joanna was an excellent (and safe) driver and we had no complaints. She was very knowledgeable about the sites and very informative.

5.00A great day spent exploring beyond Taipei - the waterfall, Shifen and Juifen with our driver and guide, Joanna. An 8 hour round trip with hotel pick up and drop off, personally escorted by Joanna to the waterfall and around Juifen, with time to then explore Shifen old town and Juifen on our own, armed with tips for the best food. Joanna was an informative guide. Highly recommend.
