We absolutely loved this tour and our guide Hana made it extra fabulous ! She navigated the trains with ease, kept the tour to our pace and made it so interesting, explaining everything so clearly. Beautiful temples and shrines and gardens! And the town of Kanaka is wonderful! Great shopping and excellent street food which we sampled all along the way. Memorable matcha tasting in the beautiful bamboo forest. Such a great day, we took our time and spent all day and she did not rush us. It was the absolute best! So glad we booked this tour! Not to be missed and having a private guide like Hana made it so much better!A+

What a wonderful experience this tour was! Could not have been better. Our guide Hana was the best! She adjusted to our pace, (we are a little older and slower) gave just the right amount of information and showed us the most wonderful places. She helped us buy things when we wanted to, and guided us through all the transportation smoothly. We could never have found our way to everything we saw on our own. Such beautiful gardens and temples! It was really the perfect day. Hana took extra time with us to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed the trip. We are so appreciative of her efforts. She spoke perfect English so we had no difficulties at all, even though it was our first time in Japan. Highly recommend this tour as a wonderful addition to visiting Tokyo.

Hana was an exceptional tour guide. She was knowledgeable, great with her English and patient. We loved the tour. It was so beautiful and we learned a lot about the history or the temples and shrines we went to. Hana showed us a really great ramen restaurant when we ended! I would say plan to eat prior because we were all very hungry by the end of the tour. We ended around 2, so the ramen she showed us was appreciated! We went on a rainy day and I think it really made for a beautiful tour.

We had a great tour with Minato. He was well spoken and knowledgable. Using the local public trains and buses to reach the temples added a unique experience. He also gave us recommendations to explore the town afterwards.

We had a very pleasant and enjoyable time on this private tour. Hana was very knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. Her English was fluent and it was fun talking to her. She was also very playful and kind with our children and even brought some snacks for them. It was a great experience that we can highly recommend.

What a majestic day! We met our lovely tour guide, Hana, at Tokyo Station. Although we were a bit lost, she found us almost right away. We appreciated the tour's structure, and we enjoyed it even more because of our incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and engaging tour guide, Hana. At the end of the tour, she suggested a "very local" ramen place, and now I know I will never have ramen so good ever again.

Minato has guided me with his extensive knowledge of the historical background of the kotokuin temple. And his English was so fluent.
