What To Expect

Swayambhunath Stupa, also called Monkey Temple, is a very old and sacred religious monument in the Kathmandu Valley. Perched on a hill, it offers breathtaking views of the city and mountains. The white dome and golden finial of the stupa, which is decorated with Buddha's all-knowing eyes, symbolize wisdom and compassion. A UNESCO World Heritage property, it is sacred to both Buddhists and Hindus and symbolizes the coexistence between the two faiths.

Patan Durbar Square

Patan Durbar Square in the heart of Lalitpur (Patan) is Nepal's finest cultural and historical complex. The durbar was once the palace of the Malla monarchs, and it boasts exquisite Newar architecture in its intricately carved wooden windows, doors, and pagoda-style temples. The square encompasses several significant monuments, including the Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (Golden Temple), which offer a blend of Hindu and Buddhist influences. The Patan Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, not just an architectural marvel but also a rich center of local life, festivals, and religious activities. What a fantastic experience! Is there anything better than zipping around a city on a scooter, seeing places only locals see, avoiding traffic, fitting in all the sights? Ram is a great guide, knowledgable and friendly. His driving is super safe and he knows all the best spots. I felt comfortable and had the best time seeing the highlights of Kathmandu. Ram helped me personalise the tour before hand and had great communication in WhatsApp.

I booked a full day tour of the Kathmandu valley with Ram. Had a great experience overall-- Ram was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the main attractions we visited. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Kathmandu!

Katmandu tour World Heritage sites, the excellent guide provided in-depth knowledge. Katmandu tour included, Patan and Durbar squares were bustling with Nepali's in their traditional costumes celebrating the festival. Guide fully immersed in the tour and at various sites or temples we paid our respect to the shrines. We were also fortunate to reach in time at Kumari temple to get glimpse of Kumari Devi living goddess. Katmandu tour was also customised to include Chandrigiri hill station to visit shrine and view of the mountain range and Amideva Buddha Park. In the evening visited Pashupatinath in time for the Punrnima celebrations at sacred temple to be blessed by Holymen, for the Puja and Aarati on the banks of Bagmati river. Next day, went to Katmandu airport, boarded Everest Scenic flight, guaranteed window seat one can capture Birds Eye view of the breathtaking scenic views of the mountain range and Everest mountain peaks. Excellent tour operator and organised the tours, with excellent guides and drivers, also customised the tour to individual needs so that one can be fully immersed in the culture and festival of Nepal.
