Weights are taken at check-in with all items. If weight restrictions are exceeded, we will cancel the tour and no refund will be given

Minimum age to participate is 7 yrs old. Ages 7-11 years must sit next to a closed door. Ages 12 yrs and older may sit next to an open door

Check-in 40 minutes prior to tour time. Late check-ins will be considered a no show and subject to full price

Check-in is at 3501 Rice Street. You will then drive 5 minutes to Lihue Airport Helipad for your flight

Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Manawaiopuna Falls (Jurassic Park Falls)

View the world famous waterfall that was in the 1993Jurassic Park movie. Standing at 400 feet, Manawaiopuna is only accessible by helicopter.

EPIC! I planned this for my Fiance'e's birthday and it was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this to anyone who want to explore the island of Kauai...there is so much of the island that you would never be able to access and this gets you there. We felt very safe and had a blast...highly recommend bringing a sweatshirt.

This private door off Kaua’i helicopter tour exceeded our expectations! It was absolutely incredible. I knew I wanted to do a helicopter tour in Kauai but struggled to choose which company to go with. I did not want to get stuck in a middle seat, which appeared to be a common complaint amongst several of the companies. Im so glad we went with Mauna Loa! Everything was absolutely perfect…from the office staff at check-in to the pilot Dylan whom was so kind, informative, and welcoming. This was my favorite thing we did while in Kaua’i…and we did many really cool things, so that’s saying something!

It was AMAZING!!! The ride, the pilot EVERYTHING about it!!! It is the highlight of our trip!! we would recommend to anybody staying here that they take this adventure. We felt super safe and got to see the entire island. My husband was a bit nervous when he found out the doors were gonna be off, but then was so happy once we got up in the air. The whole experience was absolutely amazing.

Amazing experience. Dylan was a great pilot and took great care of us. I especially liked seeing all of the waterfalls. Dylan always turned the helicopter so we could both see and take pictures.

The helicopter flight with open doors over Kauai was simply breathtaking. Pilot Tim was great – calm, personable and very experienced. Seeing the Napali coast from the air was absolutely magical. 100% recommended!

The tour was everything we hoped it would be. We got to see all of the high-points on Kauai. Our pilot, Chris, kept us informed but also gave us quiet time to just enjoy the view. You definitely want to do the tour with the doors off. The only thing you need to prepare for is the potential for cancellations all the way up to liftoff due to weather or winds. If you have to travel far to get there, this can be an issue. We just suggest you have an alternative already planned, just in case.

My wife and I nervous about "doors off", but did it getting incredible pictures and videos. Yound woman in office friendly and helpful. Our pilot, Grey was a pro and informative. Absolutely recommended.
