  Wow! A helicopter ride over Oahu was the perfect way to start our stay in Hawaii. I booked our flight thru Mauna Loa several months in advance as it was an 80th. birthday gift to my husband. Malia greeted us and prepped us for the ride before driving us to meet Lorenzo who was our young but very capable pilot. He made sure we understood the vital safety information before we took off. Lorenzo was very informative and pointed out both natural and man made sites. I chose to fly doors off while my husband preferred doors on. He is a convert and would fly doors off if we take another helicopter tour. You truly have not seen Hawaii until you have seen it from above. Don’t hesitate about booking a flight while in Honolulu. Go online and check out Mauna Loa Helicopters as I am sure you will be thrilled to see Oahu from the air.

  Great experience, first time on helicopter tour, we were a little scary but all went great. Our pilot was great, weather was perfect 🙏🏻! With the tour we skipped the volcano day trip, we saw a lot on the helicopter!

  Walt was a super pilot and guide who pointed out all the amazing sights on Kauai. He flew us into some canyons to give us an up close view. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

  Best experience of my life doing anything ever! Way better than a big tour. Don't miss and this company it the tops! We went inside a crater under the clouds. It was so spectacular! I would have paid twice that!

  I booked this doors-off helicopter tour as a birthday gift for my partner during our first trip to Hawaii, expecting it to be one of the highlights of our vacation. Instead, it was ruined before it even started by the unbelievably rude woman working in the office. I stayed polite the entire time, but she treated us with attitude and made us feel unwelcome for absolutely no reason. When people spend their hard-earned money on a once-in-a-lifetime experience, customer service should match the price. This company completely failed at that. Save yourself the disappointment and book with one of the many other helicopter companies on Kauai. Customer service is everything, and this company clearly doesn’t understand that. What should have been a special memory turned into one I’ll remember for all the wrong reasons.

  The kids were mesmerized on this tour. An hour was a perfect amount of time to get a great feel for the scenery. Our pilot, Mike, did a great job of both flying and giving us highlights. Definitely recommend!

  This a must if you are looking at cruise dinner and the sunset was amazing! Spent our 20th anniversary being catered to🤍 The crew was so fantastic! Super cool crew and safety was number one! Great job and the food was so delicious! My husband took all the pics or I would post more but take my word, spend the money, it’s worth it🤍Mahalo🤙🏼

  We had an excellent experience with Mauna Loa helicopter tours! Lauren was great with checking in and a safety briefing. Aaron was our pilot with great flying skills and music selection! Was anxious about the first time in a helicopter, but the team was forthcoming with modifying our route due to weather and we had THE BEST TIME! We will be back!

  I was amazed at the communication by Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours. They called and emailed the day prior to be sure we had everything to meet their requirements. While Trip Advisor/ Viator had the wrong address for the tour Mauna Loa followed up and made our customer service experience as great as the Kauai sights!
