What To Expect
Batu Caves
The main Cave is known as the Temple Cave or Cathedral Cave and is accessed by a steep flight of 272 steps. The top of the stairs brings you into a massive cave with a high vaulted ceiling. The cave serves as a Hindu Temple devoted to Lord Muragan whose 42 meter high gold statue stands guard outside.
Istana Negara
Istana Negara (National Palace) is the official residence of the Yang DiPertuan Agong who is the head of state of Malaysia. The New palace which was opened in 2011 is located at Jalan Duta, replaces the old Istana Negara. It occupies a complex of an area 0f 97.65 hectares with 22 domes, and is split into three main portions consisting of the formal component, royal component and administration component.

One of the best tours I’ve been on with information and patience as we were able to explore each stop. Would recommend Amir if you can pick your tour guide. 5.00We had a great experience with Emir and Viator in Kuala Lumpur. We saw all the high points of the city and structured the trip to even include some specific shopping that we wanted to do. Our cruise companions were on huge buses that saw less and took longer. Emir made sure that we stayed on schedule and got back to the ship in plenty of time. All tolls and parking were taken care of and he even paid for our use of the bathrooms at the temple . 😉 He was always ready to take our picture at each site which made it even more fun. What a great alternative to the group tour!

3.00Our driver guide was prompt, courteous and quite knowledgeable. Sometimes a bit difficult to hear as the car was noisy inside. Vehicle was comfortable. We saw all sites on the itinerary.

5.00Razif was absolutely fabulous for our first time to KL as a mum with her three daughters on a cruise day. I had Chat GPT - hidden gems for teenagers and out together an itinerary ” two attractions he hadn’t heard off and was so organised and had researched them too prior to our arrival, to make sure they existed! Our tour guide/driver Ary was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the sights of KL and learning about Malaysia. I would highly recommend booking a tour with this company.
