Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
You can see Japan's background that is off-limits to ordinary tourists after the tour. This short trip is a fantastic and great value way of experiencing Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine! We are here to help you discover new things, the Fushimi Inari Shrine is so more than its famous tunnels of vermillion-red torii gates. Most people are satisfied by a scenic view of it. But this has a lot of stories to tell that will connect you to the Japan's history and culture and your guide will show you deeper. You will see a fascinating story attached to the origin of the shrine dedicated to the god of grains – that’s what “Inari” means – . This is also why you’ll see statues of the fox around the shrine. “Kitsune” or the fox is a servant to the god Inari. They are cunning tricksters, clever minded animals who make perfect guides for the treacherous business world. You may would want the foxes on your side after this tour.

Both the guide and driver were amazing (Haru and Hari). Guide was very informative and offered much more than just walking us around. He was funny and helpful and very flexible. Would definitely recommend booking this tour again as you get to see just about everything you could want in Kyoto.

Haru tailored the tour to meet our needs. It was the perfect way to experience some of the highlights of Kyoto in a day. Haru was very knowledgeable and often included humor in his explanations making the day very enjoyable. Having a driver as well made everything seamless. Thank you for a memorable tour - We'll be back to see more!

We had an amazing tour experience with Yoshii. First, he was very accommodating and assisted us in developing a manageable itinerary that allowed us to maximize our time and see some of Kyoto’s highlights. Not only did he provide history and an immersive cultural experience, but he is also an excellent photographer. He made sure we got photos at all the popular photo spots. Pick up and drop off was seamless. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Noriko was wonderful guide and she knew just where to take us to see the best fall foliage. She was very sensitive to my needs of not too much walking or stairs...and also listened to my requests. I cannot recommend her highly enough. This private tour was truly worth the money and saved so much time trying to get there and negotiate everything. It made it so easy and fun. She is so kind, fun and knowledgeable. Thank you so much, Noriko!!!

Ryoichi Kazuma Was an excellent tour guide. He took us all over Kyoto and showed us many places that were both beautiful, memorable, and meaningful to us. He was flexible and adjusted to our needs for the day. It was very apparent that he was passionate about being a guide and shared with us that passion. He recommended restaurants and shared experiences with us that we enjoyed. The added bonus was his photography for the day. We felt very lucky to have him take great photos of our family to document the day. This was an amazing experience that we will never forget. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone wishing to experience Kyoto.
