This is a private guided tour only for you, customized to your wishes!

First you will visit the Rhine Falls (Rheinfall) the largest waterfall in Europe, take an organized boat trip to the middle of the waterfall and you can climb the rock and enjoy the amazing feeling and view of the huge waterfall. (Seasonal Apr-Oct)

Thereafter you will visit the miniature world Smilestones. It shows places in Switzerland in a modeled miniature size.

Around 1 pm it is time to go for lunch. (Your guide will book you a restaurant according your wishes, local-, vegetarian-, Italian-food etc.)

In the afternoon you will visit the Munot, an old fortress, the landmark of the town. From here you have a great view over the city and you can take astonishing pictures with old canons.

After this great experience you will explore the city of Schaffhausen, view the beautiful old buildings and you have the chance to buy souvenirs and chocolate.

After an amazing day you will be chauffeured back to the hotel.

What To Expect

You will be picked up in the hotel and chauffeured in a modern car or minivan (vehicle depending on the number of visitors) to Schaffhausen to the Rhine Falls. The driving time is 60 minutes.

Visit the Rhine Falls and walk along the impressive waterfall. Take the excursion boat to the middle of the Rhine Falls, from where you can take wonderful photos. (Boat trip is seasonal, Apr-Oct)

Rhine Falls were spectacular ! Boat ride was exciting ! The Smilestones ( the largest indoor miniature world in Switzerland), with little miniatures, showed us/ tells stories of this country ! As for Munot Fortress in Schaffhausen, the external didn't seemed to be eye-catching, but when we climbed up the stairs along the vineyard, entered the fortress and went up to the top, the entire city came into view ! Martin, with his experience, coordinated our tour in timely schedule, so that we didn't missed out any of the highlights. We had a great, great day and many thanks to Martin for his companion !

What an incredible adventure we had through this tour! Martin, our guide, provided us with one of the most wonderful days during our trip to Switzerland - waterfalls, history, views, and memories that will last forever. Martin was so knowledgable, and on top of that, so friendly, funny, and kind, and he made our day even better just by being in his company. We have two teenagers, and they both raved about this experience, so you know it has to be good. :) Highly recommend this tour ... you'll love every moment of it! Thank you!

Martin was a great guy..he tailored the tour as per our requests and even took us for lunch to a festival which was fun. Only issue was the boat cruise (which wasn't his fault...but more of the boat team..the cruise lacked oomph and no commentary was provided. In addition the boat driver refused to speak in english..just felt like a silent drive towards the falls and back).otherwise the rest of the tour was amazing. I would highly recommend Martin

My grandparents immigrated from Switzerland in 1910. Martin took me to their family villages and he did the extra research to find the church where they were married. We also went to Rhein Falls and Schaffhausen. Martin is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and is quite congenial. We had many good conversations and I learned a lot. I appreciate his flexibility in building a trip around the client’s interests. Highly recommend!!

The tour was amazing, the falls are beautiful and impressive, especially we enjoyed the boat trip to the rock in the middle of the rhine falls, that was an unique experience. After we went to the Smilestones and we never imagine that kind of place, it was great and the Forte (Munot) take you to another time. Martin was a great guide, very friendly and supportive and he found a great local restaurant for lunch. We definitely recommed this tour.
