Take a trip to the island’s #1 rafting attraction. On this tour you are able to travel in the comfort of your own private transportation vehicle while we take you to the Martha brae river which is located approximately 40 minutes from Montego Bay and 20 minutes from Trelawny Hotels. When your arrive, you will have the chance to board a 30 ft raft made from bamboo. Your professional raft captain will glide you down the river stream while telling you about the history of the river. After your experience, your driver will be there ready to take you back to your hotel.

What To Expect
Martha Brae River
Tour offers a fully appointed recreational facility which includes picnic grounds, a full service bar, two souvenir shops, swimming pool and modern restrooms. Before embarking on the tour, guests can also take a stroll through “Miss Martha’s Herb Garden”, a presentation of Jamaica’s herbs famous for their medicinal and healing properties. Established more than forty years ago, the raft ride is operated over a three mile stretch of the beautiful Martha Brae River and lasts approximately one hour. Once on the raft, guests can learn about “The Legend of Martha Brae” or enjoy an exhilarating swim.

5.00Our taxi arrived an hour late.That was difficult to reach someone by phone but a security lady at the port took over the phone call. In itself a very nice trip.Very nice raft driver (Danny)And our taxi driver drove us to a beautiful beach afterwards.

5.00Really enjoyed our Martha Brae River Rafting tour. We stopped on a cruise in Falmouth and wanted to do something a little different that was close by to our cruise port. This fit the bill perfectly. Jamtastic Tours was easy to work with and had very quick response to any questions. Finding them outside the cruise port was easy and they had us back to the ship in plenty of time so we didn’t miss the boat. Rafting down the river was calm and relaxing. Our raft captain, Anderson, was funny and knowledgeable. Jamtastic Tours even provided us with a few photos of us going down the river. I would work with Jamtastic Tours again.

5.00I stayed in Montego Bay for 5 days and did excursions all over. This was by far the best excursion of the entire trip! Our driver and travel guide Lamar had excellent service and was very accommodating ! He was prompt with pickup, had very clear instructions for pickup and his communication was stellar. Once we were picked up the vehicle was clean, spacious and comfortable. The air worked perfectly in the hot weather and the vehicle was equipped with WiFi. Our ride was very smooth and Lamar was very insightful about Jamaican history, culture and excursions. We had genuine conversations along the ride and Lamar made sure we were safe and comfortable. As women traveling solo, I was a bit hesitant for a private tour but Lamar is very respectful and didn’t display any of the weird behaviors we experienced with others. I’d highly recommend Jamtastic Tours to anyone visiting Jamaica! They have the best rates and even better service! Thanks Lamar!
