Tonya was amazing, the food was awesome, and she made the whole experience lots of fun! This in-home cooking class should be number one on your list when visiting Cozumel whether you were just couples or a large group. Highly recommend, number one thing we’ve done on Cozumel.

We had the best time with Tania at our cooking experience! Highly recommend this! We took my mom for her 80th Birthday. Everything from shopping at the market to the fresh margaritas and appetizers- to the main meal. You won’t leave hungry! Tania is the best. She even met us at the market the next day! Can’t say enough about our experience!

Did this cooking class with my mom and sisters to celebrate my Mom’s 80th birthday. We had SO much fun! Left completely full. Tania made it such a great experience from shopping for the ingredients to making fresh margaritas and a meal including appetizers, main coarse and dessert. We absolutely loved it! Highly recommend asking for Tania- she is so sweet and made this experience a 5Star review!!

We had such a fun evening in our cooking class with Tania Martinez! Our group of six (three couples) couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Tania was upbeat, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable. She even tailored parts of the class to fit our different tastes, which was such a nice touch. We cooked (and ate!) so much delicious food and learned a ton along the way. Definitely recommend booking a class—and if you can, ask for Tania! ❤️

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely Incredible – A Must-Do Experience! Wow—this cooking class was everything! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles, energy, and the rich aroma of real, authentic Mexican flavor. Gianni was a top-tier host—funny, engaging, and full of passion for the food and culture. But let me just say this… Tanya is the best. Her warmth, hospitality, and charm added an unforgettable layer to the whole experience! We chopped, sizzled, stirred, and laughed our way through the session—and every dish we made was pure magic. From scratch tortillas to fresh guacamole to mind-blowing tacos… we were full, happy, and seriously considering moving in. 😂 The drinks were flowing, the vibes were on point, and the company was even better. We walked in strangers and left like familia—with full bellies and big smiles. Whether you’re a foodie, a curious traveler, or just looking for something unforgettable to do, THIS is it. You won’t regret it. Just book it. Your taste buds (and your soul) will thank you. 🔥 10/10. Tanya and Gianni—y’all crushed it!

Tania was an amazing instructor. From tips and tricks to providing insight on regional fruits, spices, and food customs. Everything we made from the salsas to local squash to pibil was easy enough to remember and absolutely delicious. We appreciated all of the decisions we were able to make from protein choice to types of drinks. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trompitos Cooking Class – A Must-Do in Cozumel! My wife and I did this cooking class with Tania to celebrate her birthday during our trip to Cozumel—and it was easily one of the best things we’ve done on the island! We met Tania at the local market, where she walked us through how she chooses ingredients—fresh, local, and full of flavor. From there, we headed to her home and dove into making traditional dishes like Trompitos, squash with cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, frijoles charros, and not one but TWO kinds of margaritas (Cazuelita and mango—and yes, both were incredible). Tania is not only an amazing cook but also kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about Mexican cuisine and culture. We felt like we were cooking with an old friend. It wasn’t just a class—it was an experience. We learned, we laughed, and we left full and happy. We’ll definitely be booking this again on our next trip to Cozumel!
