Shruti was an amazing guide. Brought us to all the places of interest and shared stories about their history and architecture. She also doubled up as a wonderful photographer to help us capture the moments.

The tour was great fun, we visited a lot of places and it was well organised, with the driver always nearby, and water in the car. Anthony was a good guide, holding off people asking for a photo and approaching sales people, making us feel very safe (especially in the Colaba market, which somehow feels very different than markets in other big asian cities like Bangkok or Hanoi). If you’re in Mumbai, exploring on your own is very stressful and i would not recommend, especially in the touristy areas of Collaba and Fort, so having a guide takes off all the stress. Anthony is a seasoned guide and flexible in the program, e.g. when we got hungry it was no problem to go to a restaurant and push the rest of the programm.

We had a fantastic experience on our Mumbai city tour in Mumbai. The tour covered many of the city’s main highlights, but the visit to Dharavi Slum was definitely the standout part of the day. The Dharavi slum tour was very eye-opening and enlightening. It gave us a real insight into daily life and the strong community and industries there — something you don’t get to see every day. It was respectful, informative, and truly memorable. Our guide, Miss Shruti, was very friendly and knowledgeable, even though she has only been guiding for about a year. She explained everything clearly and made the tour enjoyable. The driver was also excellent — flexible with the schedule and kind enough to drop us exactly where we wanted at the end. Highly recommend this Mumbai city tour, especially with the Dharavi slum visit included. Definitely worth it for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Fantastic. The guide Max was knowledgeable and personable, he also spoke very good English. He was open to any questions and was accommodating throughout, from helping me find photo opportunities and generally being attentive to our needs… We had a 17 hour layover in Mumbai after a week’s holiday in Goa, unfortunately the first 2 hours we were really uncomfortable, tired, and wishing to get home. Eventually we decided to head into town, which ended up being the overwhelmingly warm and busy suburbs of Mumbai. After we were able to book the tour within two hours notice, we were pleasantly surprised to be rescued from the streets by an air conditioned minibus and a friendly driver. We immediately felt safe and comfortable. Our tour guide, Max, gave us a great tour of Mumbai, from the poor areas to the mega rich, from the beautiful eclectic buildings to the interesting gardens. He took us to the indoor market, and looked after us as we walked through the busy lanes, giving us just the right amount of time to experience it. Each step was very well orchestrated, and the bus would be ready to pick us up on the chaotic streets like clockwork. Above all of that, he took us to a restaurant for dinner which was reasonably priced, and one of the best curries I’ve had in my life. In contrast to my British upbringing I loved learning to eat with my hands (optional!) and as a foodie that put the big cherry on top of my week in India. It was an authentic and accommodating experience - I couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone wanting to see what Mumbai is all about. I had a heavy rucksack which I could leave in the van each time we headed out, this made the day so much more bearable. We’re heading back to the airport with a belly full of good food, and a pleasant memory of a city which we wouldn’t have known how to appreciate ourselves. Thank you to our guide Max, and the two drivers (rotation) who made our day so much better.

We booked very last minute for a tour of 6 people, they were very accommodating in getting us going and gave us a large mini bus to ensure room for luggage. Very informative tour and great recommendations for food

With only a brief stay in Mumbai I asked my hotel to book me, with only an hours notice, an English speaking guide and a competent driver to deal with the crazy traffic. I was thrilled when I met Shruti, charming, knowledgeable, and someone with whom you could laugh and share stories. I had handed over a list of what I'd like to see and we ticked them all off. Mumbai-born she was showing me her city and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I learnt the history but it wasn't too much. We just 'hung out' and that's the way I like it. Mishra was a lovely guy. Shruti and he teased each other ... I may not have understood what they were saying, but it seemed fun. So we took in the Gateway of Undia, Chhatrapati Shrubaji Yerminus, Crawford Market, Banana, Main Temple, Hanging Garden and the laundry at Dhobi Ghat. All in all, it far surpassed what I had hoped for

My private tour of Mumbai with Hakim was outstanding. He blended history, culture, and everyday life in a way that felt effortless and genuinely engaging. We covered the big landmarks, but the real magic was in the hidden spots and local stories he shared—things I never would’ve discovered on my own. Hakim was warm, flexible, and attentive to what I wanted to see, adjusting the pace and stops without missing a beat. By the end, I felt like I’d experienced the real Mumbai, not just the postcard version. Highly recommend touring the city with him!
