Gateway Of India
The Gateway of India is an arch monument built during the 20th century in Mumbai, India. The monument was erected to commemorate the landing of King-Emperor George V and Queen-Empress Mary at Apollo Bunder on their visit to India in 1911. Built in Indo-Saracenic style, the foundation stone for the Gateway of India was laid on 31 March 1911. It served to allow entry and access to India.

5.00For anyone visiting Mumbai and looking for a well-rounded introduction to the city, I’d recommend Guide Abhi and Driver Satyam. Abhi is knowledgeable and engaging — he provided solid context on the history, culture, and local life of the neighborhoods we visited, and was happy to answer questions along the way. The tour felt informative without being rushed. Satyam handled the logistics reliably and navigated the city’s traffic without any fuss. He was courteous throughout and made the transport side of things completely stress-free. As a pair, they work well together and deliver a tour that feels organized and genuine. A good choice for tourists who want more than a surface-level look at Mumbai.

5.00It’s my last day in Mumbai, and I’m so glad I booked this tour with Linda Tours! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the experience. My tour guide, Abhi, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about his work. I mentioned that I wanted to catch the sunset at Marine Drive, and he was more than happy to accommodate my request. He also took some wonderful photos for me, which I really appreciated! A special thanks as well to our driver, Santosh, who was always punctual, professional, and made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Thank you both for making my time in Mumbai so memorable. 5.00It was an amazing , the tour guide shruti was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, accommodated all our requirements. She made our trip very exciting and pleasant as it was our first trip to Mumbai. Also we had an amazing driver arjun , knew his way, very pleasent person and funny. I highly recommend them for any tours .
