Get up close and personal with Aruba's wildlife in a way that's currently unique on the island. With a private local guide, climb the highest point of Aruba without the noise of engines or large groups of tourists. The hike will take you past beautiful nature trails, where you can admire local plants and animals.
After the hike you can cool off at Mangel Halto, snorkeling past healthy coral reefs under guidance of an experienced, EFR certified guide. You can expect a private experience that is 100% catered to the pereference and experience level of your group. The activities are extremely versatile and can be adapted on the spot if you decide to take it easy, or want to look for more adventure.
Please note that we do not operate by boat. Boat engines are loud and disturb (and potentially damage) marine life. By approaching from shore, you get to access rarely-visited spots that are more vibrant with fish, coral and other marine life.

This was a lovely excursion! It was nice to get away from the "busyness' of the resort and city and see the natural landscape of Aruba. The hike was well paced and not difficult. We walked as the sun came up and it was BEAUTIFUL! Alejandro was an easy- going guide who educated us about Aruba and the landscape as we hiked. He pointed out several bird, sand crab and plant species. He assessed the reef pool before allowing us to swim, as the ocean was very rough with large waves. He swam with the only member of our group who was brave enough to snorkel. She said there were many beautiful fish in the reef pool. We are returning to Aruba later this year, and I will definitely do this excursion again!

Rob was absolutely amazing! The fact that the tour is private and it was just my husband and I was a delight! Rob was very knowledgeable about the ecosystem and animals, island history and random facts. He was friendly, energetic and did not rush us at all. He thought of every last detail including fresh fruit and local pastries as snacks. He even took us on a short detour so we could get the famous Aruban hot sauce to take back home! 110% recommend!

Rob was an excellent and attentive guide for this trip. We hiked first…the views were amazing…Rob was very knowledgeable in that he pointed out different plants and cacti along with wildlife. We even got to see a pair of tiny owls in their nest. After our hike we had water and some fruit which was really appreciated. Then, We did a surprise stop at the donkey sanctuary. We hadn’t expected this but it was nice because we could feed some of the many donkeys that were there and also use the facilities. The snorkeling was next. Rob was very safety conscious and very experienced in the water which we appreciated as we hadn’t snorkeled in quite a while. We saw many, many different kinds of fish and corals. Our guide even took pictures which he shared with us, which was also unexpected! After snorkeling we were brought to a shady spot on a beautiful spot on the coastline where we were given sandwiches, fruit, and drinks. I would highly recommend this experience!! And, thank you again Rob, for a wonderful day!

My husband and I went on this excursion the day after we did the private snorkeling one and it was AMAZING to say the least. I highly recommend doing this excursion too because when we went to go snorkel to see the coral reef we already felt like pros. & The hike was perfectly challenging and the view at the end made it all worthwhile. Rob was the best guide and he did a great job at teaching us all about Aruba. When I come back to Aruba I’d love to go on another adventure with Fins & Feet Nature Tours.

My wife and I had a great experience. My wife is not an experienced swimmer/snorkeler but the guide made her very comfortable in the shallow, calm part of our snorkeling trip. She did not participate in the more arduous section, where it was just the guide and me. I had a great time swimming around. Your guide could not have been better, and we are very grateful. Highly recommended.

Rob was amazing! He is very personable and plays great music! He pointed out all kinds of birds on the hike and fish during the snorkeling that we would not have noticed otherwise.

Excellent Private Tour by Rob. My husband & I did the morning hike & then snorkeling. The hike was beautiful & Rob was extremely knowledgeable about the birds, animals & plants in the area. Our planned snorkeling location was not ideal conditions so Rob changed plans & we headed to Boca Catalina where we saw sea turtles & lots of fish in calm waters. Rob is an experienced dive instructor who lives on the island. He is extremely personable & professional & very patient with all levels of snorkeling ability . He is also extremely aware of safety as well as protecting the environment & respecting the island that is his home. If you want individualized care, safety & a tour with someone who actually respects this island then skip the commercialized booze cruises & call Fins & Feet to plan your individualized tour! We have already booked another tour for next week.

Rob was great. We actually went on the sunset hike excursion to the highest point, but we did not visit the coral reef. Rob was knowledgeable about the plants, various points of interest that he was able to point out to us, and he is an excellent photographer. All of the tours are private, meaning only those in your group take the excursion...no strangers. It is an amazing service offered by a local guide. The business is operated solely by Rob and his wife, who do an excellent job. I highly recommend Fins and Feet.

Rob was very knowledgeable about the plants, animals, and fish that we saw on our tour. He matched his pace to ours when going up the mountain (we are 65). For the snorkel, he started us off in shallow water and got a different size mask for my wife when the first one didn't fit her well. Snorkel was also an easy pace. Very enjoyable morning.

My husband and I did the tour with Rob. He was highly recommended and did not disappoint. The hike on the mountain had stunning views. As we were walking Rob explained different species, plants, birds, it was awesome. We then snorkeled and within 5 minutes we saw our first of 4 sea turtles. Rob took some amazing underwater photos and shared them with us. We can’t wait to visit Aruba next year and do the sunrise tour with Rob.
