Simply put, we are real Aurora hunters and rely on the following to succeed in our mission: • background research into local weather and Aurora forecasts • live information feed coming direct into our car • local knowledge of all the best viewing spots • willingness to go the extra mile – or a hundred miles – to find the Aurora During the night, we normally go to 2-3 different locations which are always chosen according to local weather conditions and photographic opportunities. This means that if we have a clear sky and a possibility to see the Aurora 100 km away, we will take the chance and drive you there. Altogether we have over 50 locations from which we can choose the best ones each night! After reaching our destination we leave the car and continue on foot to reach the perfect spot for photography. In the destination our guide, a professional photographer, helps you prepare your cameras for Northern Lights photography and we are ready for the show of a lifetime!

5.00We booked two tours with Beyond Arctic. The first one is Husky Farm tour. We simply had the most wonderful time spent with the adorable huskies as we sat in the 5km sled ride on a snowing winter forest. Another one is the Northern Lights tour. We had an amazing time with Neva as our guide. She drove almost to borders of Sweden to find the clear sky, and in the end we were able to see the stunning aurora. She had good knowledge of photography and capture a great photos. Thank you Beyond Arctic for the most wonderful once in a life time experience.

1.00Very bad experience not because we don't see the aurora but because the lack of professionalism. A terrible car trip lasting 6h30m, completely uncoordinated, driving from one side to another. At first was said that we would go to Sweden with another group but the guide lost it and we ended around in circles behind another car about two hours until he realized he was following the wrong car! The group that went to Sweden photographed the northern lights.

Despite the cloudy and challenging night, he never stopped hunting for the aurora until we finally witnessed the dream of our lives. We booked a private northern lights tour and had an incredible experience from start to finish everything was great. We were able to see spectacular views of the aurora borealis and have the trip of a lifetime! 5.00Had an amazing experience with Finn. Finn is very passionate about the Northern lights. Even if we did not see them, he was an experience in itself to listen to him. He has gone above and beyond my expectations to find us the northern lights! Thank you Finn, you have created some beautiful memories for a long time! There was very little chance to see the northern lights in Finland so we drove to Sweden and luck was on our side. We had a show for 90 mins before the clouds came back. Thank you also to the Beyond team to allow us to reschedule the hunt as the weather was not good the day before.

5.00We would like to thanks our guide Andy. Despite a bad weather she managed to find a spot with a clear sky. We enjoyed the activity within a place with nobody around. Perfect conditions to be amazed with the north light while having comforting grilled foods and hot drinks.

5.00This was our second tour with Beyond Artic, which was selected by our travel agency AMEX/A&K. We did not yet know that Beyond Artic distinguishes itself by offering high-quality photos of their tours. When we realised, we were super enthusiastic about it. I am a hobby photographer, but taking photos at -20 degrees with a complex professional camera turned out to be too much of a challenge for me. Fantastic when it turns out that your guide is a professional photographer / camerawoman. Although the term 'northern lights' is always part of the name of excursions, we did not see the phenomenon in six days. Not even during this excursion. But we still enjoyed it immensely and had a great evening. The most important ingredient: the fantastic sense of humor and the fantastic creativity of our guide and photographer Andie. The northern lights were not photographed, we were. And every time Andie came up with something new, which gave us truly fantastic photos. And while we warmed ourselves in between at the fire she made, she told us about the effect of climate change in Lapland, especially for the wild animals in the forests. No northern lights, but - thanks to Andie - amazing pictures of an unforgettable fun and special experience.

5.00Skip the slightly cheaper group tours and go for this private tour. Our guide Aleksei went above and beyond making sure we saw the lights. He had several apps and ways of figuring out where the lights were. We were out for over 6 hours. We did a group tour with a different tour company the next night and it paled in comparison.

5.00We had an amazing experience with Oren our guide as he provided us with lot of information about the Northern lights. Oren kept on driving and trying to make sure that we see the lights and he also shared lot of information in detail about the lights in a fun and engaging way. I will recommend Oren for a great experience.
