Winter in Iceland is famous for it's Aurora Borealis, better known as the Northern lights. Embark on a night tour to hunt for the Northern Lights and enjoy magical moments in the vast natural landscapes of Iceland. From Reykjavik we will be hunting the Northern Lights in the west of Iceland, passing Borgarnes town. But we monitor the weather closely and ensure that we go to the best places where you are more likely to see the Northern Lights.
We at Mercury are trying to do any single tour like this as a private. But sometimes weather making us mad so on that way we need to share previous travelers with current. Max 8 person in wan if that happens.

5.00If You need private trip with professional and kind guide this is the perfect choice! I was planning engagement and Andres was incredibly helpful and patient with all my emails and questions. He did everything he could for us to see the northern lights and make it truly special moment. He also provided photos so we will forever remember this night. Besides all of that he is just super fun and friendly person so spending time with him was truly a blast! Highly recommend and I don't think that there is a better person to go on aurora hunt with!

5.00We booked Andres after reading some great reviews and wanting a small private tour to avoid a large bus and lots of waiting around. Tonight we were very lucky with the weather, Andres let us know we could start the tour earlier to catch some good lights so we headed out to a dark spot and we were not disappointed. Some amazing lights, we took some great pics and Andres kindly took some of us. We also stopped at a service station for snacks/coffee/bathroom break before continuing our search to some other locations, sometimes leaving the car and sometimes staying in the warm at windy areas. We had a great experience with Mercury Grail and I would highly recommend to anyone 👌 👍🏻

5.00Andres has been wonderful and was very communicative during the entire time we were in Iceland, trying to find a day where the forecast was good to see the Northern Lights. When our initial tour day arrived and it looked like we were not going to be able to do our tour as planned, Andres asked for our schedule to free up additional time if one of the other days would also work for Mother Nature. We unfortunately were not in Reykjavik when we were able to see the lights, but Andres gave many tips for how we might see them when we were across the island, which resulted in success! I would highly recommend this tour company, even though we were unable to complete the tour to no one's fault, but the weather.

5.00Andres, was in contact from the start of our booking and wisely advised us that the conditions may not always be conducive to seeing the lights. Andres came to our hotel and explained every day what our chances were. Rather than other tours where they take payment even when there is no possibility. I knew we were in safe hands and Andres expertise would guide us in the right outcome as was so clear from other reviews. In the end the conditions were not right - but our expectations were managed so well by Andres and we had a wonderful trip to Iceland all the same and even better to have contact with such a good person as Andres is. So make sure you book with him - there is no better!
