We have a unique instruction method and all our students stand up on their board on the first lesson.
Our surf instruction focuses on water safety. We want to get you into the waves, onto the board and standing up as safely as possible.
Our first aid trained instructors will stay with you in the water the whole time.

What To Expect
Our Surf Lessons Bali instructor will pick you up from your Canggu accommodation around 45 minutes before your lesson time. We generally head to Batu Bolong for our beginners lessons where the consistent easy rolling waves provide ample opportunity for a safe surfing experience. If the weather, tide or swell isn't looking great, we can always find another nearby spot. We will provide one of our high-quality beginners (foam) surfboards. These boards are specifically designed to provide greater stability on waves in order to have you standing up and hanging ten in the shortest time possible. We'll also supply a rash vest if you need one to keep the sun off and guard against board rash. Our lessons start with some basic surf instruction, a brief overview of the location and any local hazards as well as a water safety briefing. If you aren't a great swimmer or are afraid of the ocean, we can stay in waist deep water and still have a great surf! Alternatively we can provide floatation vests for extra piece of mind. Once our lesson is over there’s time to get some feedback on areas for improvement, take a victory selfie and have a complimentary bottle of water.

Batu Bolong Car Park
Duration: 2 hours: After a short introductory instruction session and water safety briefing, we'll have a quick stretch and head to the waves
Bottled water, Soda, Bintang : Keeping hydrated is important, we'll provide a bottle of water or soda after your lesson
Airconditioned van: Local Canggu accommodation pickup in our company van is included. Contact us if you’re outside the Canggu area.
Beginners board and Rash vest : We will provide a high quality beginners board (foam) with a leash and a rash vest if you need it.

5.00Contacted this school via WhatsApp, because their price was quite reasonable. That was my first time surfing and instructor Haris made everything for my safety, starting from SPF and to picking the best waves. He has good English, so all instructions were clear. I'm not strong enough for Canggu waves, but Haris helped me all the way out, pushed me and gave some time to rest. Thanks to him I managed to stand on a boat and keep balance, so if you want to learn from Balinese I recommend this school

5.00We are a family of 2 adults and 1 child at 10 years old and we all had private surfing time with Haris and two of his other instructors. I am Beginner while my son has tried surfing a few times in Denmark and my husband is a routine windsurfer. I was completely confident that my son was surfing alone with the instructor and despite the language barrier he had surfed several waves. My husband also got waves that matched his level. We can all highly recommend Haris and his instructors for both children, beginners and more experienced surfers.

5.00I had no intention of surfing at all and had zero experience but came along as a companion to my eleven-year-old daughter, who wanted to try surfing. It worked very well to be an adult and a child on an instructor, he helped us both in turn. Our instructor Haris was very patient, educational and accommodating. ☺️ We both stood up on the board during the first lesson which I did not think would be possible at all. Haris was very calm and helpful and also helped arrange a pair of bathing shoes so that my daughter could surf even though she had hurt her toe a bit, checked if we needed sunscreen, water etc. Overall very helpful! 🩵 We took three lessons in total and after each lesson he gave us feedback, checked the situation etc. 10/10! 👍🏻

High recommendations and special thanx to the surf teacher; he was really professional and really nice guy. You should try surfing also!
