5.00This 4-hour custom tour was a great way to explore Osaka. In just a few hours, we managed to see and learn a lot about the city. From Osaka Castle to Dotonbori and Shinsekai – plus plenty of cool side streets in between – it was a really nice mix of the main highlights and hidden spots we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. Although it wasn't a food tour, our guide Kieran also took us to a few local restaurants and bars along the way, which we appreciated and really enjoyed. Kieran was a great guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to chat with. As a native English speaker who’s fluent in Japanese and has lived in Osaka for years, he was able to share lots of interesting insights about the city, the history, and everyday life in Japan. We found it was actually great to have a non-Japanese guide. Kieran offered a unique perspective on living in Japan as a Westerner, which made the experience feel more relatable and gave us the chance to ask all sorts of questions. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed way to explore Osaka.

5.00Esteve was knowledgeable about everything I threw at him. He explained why there are multiple types of Japanese writing, the history of the castle, restaurant tips and train navigation. He tailored our tour for our limited mobility by using more trains and less walking. Highly recommended.

5.006 out of 5. Really gregarious Canadian, not living in Osaka. First. Really great guy. Great tour. Great experience. Ok he is a big burly Canadian, fluent in Japanese. Really funny, he was speaking to the restaurant owner, and the owner patted his abdomen and told him he was needing a diet. ;)) Ok, so maybe you had to be there. Did I mention we loved the your. 5.00We had such a great experience with our private tour in Osaka! Kieran reached out the day before via WhatsApp and text, which made everything really easy and convenient. He met us right outside our Airbnb, and from the start, it felt like we were exploring the city with a friend. We spent the day walking through Osaka and visiting the major sites—my favorite was the Emperor’s Palace, which was absolutely beautiful. After the energy and pace of Tokyo, Osaka was such a nice change—quieter, more relaxed, and just a really enjoyable vibe. Kieran spoke perfect English and was incredibly helpful, even showing us tips on how to use the train system and navigate the city on our own. The weather was gorgeous, the sights were amazing, and the entire day felt easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osaka! Kieran was incredibly knowledgeable and very patient throughout the entire tour. He even took the time to bring me into a few local shops and explain what different items were, which made the experience feel much more personal and immersive. He shared fantastic restaurant and shopping recommendations for the rest of our trip and even offered to help us get back on the train afterward, which we really appreciated. Osaka is truly stunning and magical, and with Kieran as our guide, it ended up being the best day of our trip so far from the U.S. to Japan. He also took some amazing photos for us, which was such a nice bonus. I highly recommend booking a tour with him—you won’t regret it!
