This private and customizable tour (length/price, interests) for all ages is a great introduction and overview to Philadelphia’s history and culture.
• We highlight iconic and historical sites such as Independence Hall and the
Liberty Bell as well as picturesque streets and alleys in residential
neighborhoods
• We discuss a huge array of buildings from the Colonial to the Victorian eras,
plus American skyscrapers and modernist buildings.
• You will some of the city’s 4000 murals (street art) – the most of any city in the
world, the largest municipal building in the world and the colorful Reading
Terminal Market, home to several Amish businesses. It is the perfect place
for a meal or a snack (not included).
A hotel pick up and drop-off, if your hotel is located in the city center, can also be scheduled.

5.00Patrick is a lovely person, he is alive and he is a real Phily enthusiast! It succeeds brilliantly in interest you in the history of a city, even if you are not a fan of history. And he managed to do it with great humor and humility, with well-chosen anecdotes.

5.00My husband and I did a private architectural walking tour with Patrick in Philadelphia which was just fantastic. It was actually our third day in the city and not our first tour, but Patrick really was so great at describing the history of the development of the city in a way I hadn't understood until that point. He was immensely knowledgeable and charming, was able to answer all of our questions, and never rushed us as we went. Definitely a high quality, fun tour worth booking!

We made two visits with him, the first on Street Art: Beautiful! and the second in the historic district: enriching! 5.00I gifted this tour to my parents who came to visit us last fall. They raved about Patrick and the wonderful afternoon they spent walking through Philadelphia's scenic streets. Since then some friends and I booked the tour for ourselves, looking for something new to do that was outdoors and allowed for appropriate social distancing. It was a wonderful experience, we all learned so much! And spending time with Patrick was a true pleasure--a lovely and fun guide who revealed whole new aspects of the city and its history. Recommended for tourists and locals alike!
