This private and customizable tour (length/price, interests) for all ages is a great introduction and overview to Philadelphia’s history and culture.
• We highlight iconic and historical sites such as Independence Hall and the
Liberty Bell as well as picturesque streets and alleys in residential
neighborhoods
• We discuss a huge array of buildings from the Colonial to the Victorian eras,
plus American skyscrapers and modernist buildings.
• You will some of the city’s 4000 murals (street art) – the most of any city in the
world, the largest municipal building in the world and the colorful Reading
Terminal Market, home to several Amish businesses. It is the perfect place
for a meal or a snack (not included).
A hotel pick up and drop-off, if your hotel is located in the city center, can also be scheduled.

5.00Patrick ran an amazing bilingual walking tour of Philadelphia in French and English. He is knowledgeable and personable and knows how to make history come alive. Patrick was very flexible and accommodating to our needs, finding shaded areas to hide from the sun on a very hot day. He was able to tailor our tour exactly to what we wanted to see, and Patrick was sure to include “off the beaten path” sites that we know other tourists would never ordinarily see. Patrick gave us excellent advice regarding hotels and restaurants and he went above and beyond what was expected— helping plan our entire weekend in Philadelphia. He is quite a find and is very talented and should be sought out for your next visit to Philly!

5.00Our history tour with Patrick was magical. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about Philadelphia and the birth of our country. This tour made our visit extremely special. My wife and I loved the history and Patrick’s desire to take us to places and share stories you won’t see on any other tour.

5.00Patrick is a lovely person, he is alive and he is a real Phily enthusiast! It succeeds brilliantly in interest you in the history of a city, even if you are not a fan of history. And he managed to do it with great humor and humility, with well-chosen anecdotes.

5.00My husband and I did a private architectural walking tour with Patrick in Philadelphia which was just fantastic. It was actually our third day in the city and not our first tour, but Patrick really was so great at describing the history of the development of the city in a way I hadn't understood until that point. He was immensely knowledgeable and charming, was able to answer all of our questions, and never rushed us as we went. Definitely a high quality, fun tour worth booking!
