What To Expect

Photo shoot & walk in Kyoto. I'll take you around to famous locations, hidden backstreets, shrines, temples. The whole experience will be captured with my camera! Choose 1 favorite neighborhood! ○ Gion and Higashiyama Old traditional streets, temples, shrines, Maruyama park, Geisha district. ○ Arashiyama Beautiful nature, Kamboo forest, Kimono forest, shrines, temples, Kameyama park. ○ Philosophers Path Serene river, small shrines, temples, Nanzenji, Keage incline, cherry blossoms. ○ Fushimi-Inari Thousands of torii gates, shrines, nature. ○ Other? Lone travelers, families, couples, friends, old, young, in wheelchair, got a stroller, doesn't matter... I will customize this experience for You, perfect for anyone who wants their memories in Kyoto captured. If you are interested in Japanese culture feel free to ask me anything, all kinds of questions are welcome! Incl: ○ Starting time 9am to 4pm ○ 50 edited photos/hour ○ All original data (Usually over 200/hour) Options: ○ Kimono Rental: 60 USD/person ○ Shoot Extension 140 USD/hour (includes +50 edited) ○ Professional retouch 20 USD/photo ○ Flexible start time 40 USD Photos are sent trough Google Drive, within 4 weeks.

Very pleased with Jens because he made us feel comfortable during the shoot which allowed our personalities to be reflected in the photos. Even our children was raving about him when we got back, recommending him to our friends who are going to Japan in the next couple of months. Super love the photos nd love the experience as well. Jens was amazing! He was super friendly and patient with us, guiding us to great photo spots and helping us look and feel comfortable so the photos come out more candid and genuine. He spoke perfect English and took beautiful photos, he even recommended a spot to eat after we were done, I would 100% recommend him and would love to do it again.

Jens was amazing! When I looked this, I was skeptical because I did not know anything about Kyoto as well as “stranger” photographer. Jens have gone above and beyond my expectation. I was really happy with the results. The photos engraved our trip the way we would like. My style was not a posing style but naturally captured the moment of my daughter and me. Jens got my idea and he carried it out so well. Definitely, go with Jens - that is my advise with my experience

Jen’s is amazing. He is fun and creative and always trying to find the best shot. He makes you feel very comfortable and guides you very well during the shoot. I would most definitely have him take our photos again.

Jens was super nice and easy going. We went to a small park with him and he took a lot of pictures of us. We had great fun! He sent us all pictures via Dropbox the following day. We are super happy with the pictures and recommend Jens to everybody who wants to have great ppictures from their holiday in Japan!

Our photoshoot session with Jens was such a wonderful experience! We were not sure what to expect as we had not done a photoshoot like this before especially with our 2 year old in tow, but Jens made the session very comfortable and fun for all of us. He was very kind and patient with our little one and we appreciate that very much! Jens knew exactly which spots to take us so we could have photos with the blooming sakuras and away from the crowd. It was such a fun experiece that we didn't realise that time passed by so fast and the photoshoot had come to an end. He is very easy to communicate with and understands exactly what we wanted. We are grateful to have met such a wonderful photographer for our first shoot as a family! If you are thinking of doing a photoshoot (family photoshoot especially!), we cannot recommend Jens enough! We wish him all the best in his future endeavours and hopefully get to see him in the future.
