5.00this was our only excursion booked in Costa Rica as we traveled with a 1yo-old and 3yo and didn’t know how the kids were going to handle the long day. Manuel was our guide and was the most patient man I ever met. We accomplished so much and visited so many locations in one day. He was able to strategically stop in multiple locations while enjoying excursions and taking a break. While the toddlers became restless he provided delicious fruit and special costa rican treats which helped tremendously. More importantly he was able to capture amazing memories of the family with both my phone and his and he must have a photography background as videos were amazing. His love for nature showed as he provided exceptional information on creatures and trees of rain forest. So glad we booked this guide, highlight of our trip.

5.00I would 100% recommend this tour with Costa Rica One on One Tours! I went with my husband and two boys, ages 7 and 9. Our guide was Manuel and he made the experience exceptional for us all! He was wonderful with the boys! This private tour allowed us to immerse ourselves in so much Costa Rican goodness in just one day. Manuel had personal touches and surprises along the way that made it even more special!! Thank you Manuel! Hopefully we’ll see you again during our next visit to your beautiful country!!!

5.00Wow- Pablo was great!! We got transportation, got to swim in the waterfall, have a nice coffee/chocolate tour, delicious lunch, a little hike, plus the sloth/forest tour was great!! We had a full full day since we stayed in Liberia, there’s lots of transportation time but Pablo was excellent driver and conversationalist. We had a great time and saw many animals! Thanks for everything!

5.00This was our favorite day of our Costa Rica trip! Francisco our guide was fantastic! He was so kind, and patient with all of our questions. Loved swimming in the water fall. A first for our family. We saw monkeys and a wild turkey on the suspended bridge walk. Authentic lunch was delicious. Christopher at the coffee/chocolate plantation was really knowledgeable and fun. Eduardo took us for a walk around the rainforest and showed us some sloths, a tree frog, and a viper! Everyone was so kind! I highly recommend doing a private tour if you can because we did everything at our pace and didn't have to worry about other people. Because of traffic, our 8 hour day turned into 12 but well worth it!

5.00This tour was fantastic! My wife’s primary objective was to see a sloth. Mission accomplished! We are nature and animal lovers and we weren’t disappointed! What made this tour so good was Pablo, our tour guide. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel he was kind and very friendly. He made the ride so enjoyable with his immense knowledge of this region and its history. He is passionate about what he does and where he lives! The waterfall was beautiful and we got to swim very close to it! The coffee and chocolate tour was educational and tasty! And the hike through the rainforest, in the rain, was remarkable! Unfortunately something flew up on the road when we were driving back causing damage to the fuel line. Even with this inconvenience, everything turned out fine! Thanks to this unfortunate event and the van being broke down, it allowed us the opportunity to meet with Manny and Laura. Manny and Pablo are co-owners of this travel group and Laura is the brains behind all of the logistics of the tours. When Pablo called them to inform them that we broke down, Manny and Laura didn’t hesitate to come pick us up and get us back to our hotel. Just like Pablo, these two were so kind and so caring! Manny took off where Pablo left off and shared his passion and knowledge of this area. If you are looking for a fun and educational tour with passionate people, don’t look any further!!! Five ⭐️’s for sure!!!!

If you want a fun, informative, immersive Costa Rican experience, while checking ALL THE boxes, not feel rushed and walk away with a smile and a head full of great experiences— this is your tour. My wife and I with our besties had the time of our life with Manuel and his wealth of experience and local secrets on special meals and side excursions. We took hundreds of photos and videos, saw EVERYTHING imaginable and even had frosty cold beers to and from our hotel. Highly recommend Manuel and this tour! You will not be disappointed.

5.00This private tour was one of the best experiences of our trip to Guanacaste! Manuel picked us up right at our hotel with snacks and drinks, and the entire day was perfectly planned. We explored the rainforest, walked across hanging bridges, and visited a wildlife sanctuary where our private guide, Maria, helped spot incredible animals. Maria and Manuel worked together to help us see sloths (moms and babies), toucans, red-eyed frogs, snakes, bats, and more — things we never would have found on our own! We also enjoyed a delicious coffee and chocolate tasting and an authentic meal at a local restaurant. The day ended with karaoke and lots of laughs on the ride home, which made it even more memorable. Highly recommend this tour — the perfect mix of nature, culture, and fun!
