Explore the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains on this immersive day tour from Marrakech. Conclude your day with a homemade Berber lunch in Dar Imoughlad and a stroll through a charming village to experience authentic rural life. Pickup from Cafe de France in Marrakech at 9:30 AM. Visit a Cooperative Argan to witness traditional cosmetics via oil extraction and tea. Two-and-a-half-hour hike with panoramic breathtaking views of Mt Toubkal. What To Expect
After pickup, we will visit a traditional Berber women's cooperative where oil-based cosmetics are handmade through local extraction methods. Over a glass of mint tea, engage with these remarkable women and learn about their lives and culture and the Berber heritage. Continue into the majestic High Atlas Mountains, up the winding alpine road and into the stunning Imlil Valley, past unique traditional Berber villages. Stop in Tamadut Natural Park and embark on a 2.5 trek that winds through some of the most breathtaking panoramic scenery in Morocco. Walk past quiet villages and witness the rural, alpine culture of local peoples and their lands and animals. Stop at scenic overlooks, including a jaw dropping view of Mt. 5.00We spent an absolutely memorable day with this private hike in the mountains near Marrakech. Our Berber guide was extremely knowledgeable, warm and passionate — he shared fascinating stories about daily life, traditions and the history of the village. The scenery was breathtaking: mountain panoramas, wild valleys, and authentic corners away from mass tourism. The walk was well organized, neither too easy nor too trying, perfect to discover nature while learning.

Hamid listens to his guests and knows how to adapt his hikes to their preferences and abilities. You can also take a pension with your eyes closed at the family table: the cuisine is as excellent as it is varied!
