The sulphur mine also called "La Veille Dame" is EN fact a relative young volcano located in the French antilles; EN Guadeloupe.
The highest peak of the small antilles rises to 1467 meters.
Saint-Claude, the tallest town of the small antilles, is the commune by which access to the "Old Lady" is easiest.
At Domaine DE la Ville, on the flanks DE la Soufrière, there are hot water baths (Les Bains Jaunes) in which you can swim and bask.
But with the restriction DE not diving your head underwater or face amoebae.
Thus, the main theme and the main character who is the Soufriere, seen "in 360°" or almost.
On this "Shooting tour" we will make various stops that will allow you DE relax and take DE photos of the massif DE la souffrière that goes from the oldest in the commune DE sainte-rose to the southern tip DE l'île DE la basse-terre, passing through the flanks DE la sulphière via the city of saint-claude.

After reading some reviews from others that the itinerary could be changed, I did exactly that. Requested a hotel pick-up instead of meeting in town and also requested to replace/shorten some of the stops and instead visit the Botanical Gardens and Fort Delgres, which the tour operator said was "fine', but he ended up not following through. He did take us to the botanical gardens which we were grateful for, but other than that, he didn't show us anything interesting. I requested to skip the Thermes de Sofia, as it's literally just a water faucet, but he took us there anyways. I did see the rainforest and some leaf cutter ants, but IDK why this is even a stop on what's supposed to be a "shooting tour". The description listed a stop at "Plage de la Perle", but we were taken to a completely different beach. We then stopped at an overlook for Grande Anse, but weren't actually taken to the main beach. I was fine not stopping at Malendure as I didn't plan to snorkel there, but from here everything went downhill. The description promised a "visit to St. Claude where you will have spectacular views of La Soufriere." We only drove through the town and stopped at some baths were there were no views of anything but people and jungle. Complete waste of time. The tour also promised a "visit to Basse-terre (historic monuments side)." I requested a visit to downtown to make sure, and again the operator agreed but didn't follow through. Instead, he took us to the back side of the fort, which was littered with trash and abandoned cars and lied and said it's closed, even though there was information online and on site stating clear as day that it's open. We wouldn't complain if he stopped in the front and didn't let us go inside, but he deliberately took us to the back and took us for complete ignorant fools. If this stop was inconvenient for him, he should have just said so instead of agreeing to take us there. The view of the Chutes du Carbet was a complete joke. He didn't even drive towards the trailhead where you can see the falls closer, but stopped along the main road where you need a telescopic lense to get a good shot on what was supposed to be a "shooting tour". The two things we wanted to see the most, he didn't take us to. We agreed to do the stop at the Kassavarie, because we were under the impression we would be watching a demonstration. He only took us there to buy Kasava sandwiches, which ended up making me sick. I booked this tour because it was cheaper than other tours, but it was a complete joke. We basically paid to look through a car window. We couldn't even see the sea, because most of the time it was blocked by vegetation. He didn't even offer either of us the front seat for best views on what was supposed to be a "shooting tour." Had we known it was gonna be like this, we would've just paid extra and taken a regular taxi to the garden, fort and Falls. If you want to take pictures through a car window, consider this tour. But if you actually want to see and photograph iconic sites, don't waste your time and money.
