Casino Barriere Trouville
A casino was built in 1847. Originally, it is not a simple gambling establishment, but a cozy place frequented by an elegant and wealthy clientele. Balls, operettas and plays are regularly held there. The theater is considered "worthy of the biggest stages", the acoustics are excellent and the best artistic productions of the time are presented. The greatest artists and personalities of the high society of the time attend during their holidays, the Laffitte, Vernes, Perrier, Seillière, but also counts and countesses as Pourtualès or Poniatowski.
Plage Des Bains
"A monkey in winter", a film by Henri Verneuil, was shot there during the winter of 1961-1962. Villerville appears there under the name of Tigreville. A local association, created in 2001, perpetuates the memory of the shooting. Since June 2007, a large photo of the film Jean Gabin and Jean-Paul Belmondo, the two stars of the film, has been hanging on a wall at the entrance to the main street. Down this street is the Norman Cabaret, a restaurant used for filming.

This was hands-down the best experience of our trip! Riding through the charming streets and countryside of Honfleur in a vintage sidecar was pure magic. The views were stunning, the pace was perfect, and every moment felt like something out of a movie. What made it truly special were the incredible bikers—so friendly, passionate, and full of local knowledge. They made us feel completely at ease, shared fascinating stories, and added such a personal touch to the whole ride. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. If you’re looking for something unique, fun, and absolutely memorable, don’t miss this sidecar tour. It’s not just a ride—it’s an experience you’ll be talking about for years, I know we will.

Nicolas gave us quite the trip. He was both kind and highly knowledgeable with a real passion for the area. It was the highlight of our Normandy trip. Honfleur itself was beautiful on its own but Nicolas elevated the experience. The calvados distillery was a refreshing change of pace outside Honfleur. As for the ride, I had a smile on my face the whole drive. Would absolutely do this again.

If you're looking for something delightful to do in Honfleur, you've found it! This tour was an absolute blast and the perfect way to kick off our day in Honfleur. Our tour guide Remy was utterly fantastic. Knowledgeable and funny, he made an amazing ride through the beautiful downtown and countryside even better. At the end of our tour, he even booked us a table at a local restaurant where we had the best mussels of our lives! Merci!
