What makes this tour truly special is its fully private nature—designed just for you. No groups, no fixed schedules. Whether you want to explore the Blue Cave, snorkel with sea turtles, or float above coral reefs, we’ll customize the plan based on your interests and the ocean conditions.
We meet directly at a designated location. Once we meet, you will follow the guide’s car in your own vehicle to our selected spots. This "convoy" style allows you to enjoy a private, comfortable drive at your own pace. You’ll enter the water safely from the beach, guided by a local English-speaking expert who will capture your adventure with free GoPro photos and videos.
After snorkeling, we will drive together (in separate cars) to a quiet waterfall, then enjoy a refreshing local pineapple or mango smoothie. With your own transport, you can head straight to your next destination or continue exploring the island immediately after the tour!

What To Expect
Your Own Ocean Escape – A Private Snorkeling & Waterfall Adventure in Ishigaki (Meeting on-site) On this half-day private tour, we will meet directly at a designated location. Once you arrive in your own vehicle, you will follow your guide’s car as we head to a handpicked beach. From there, you’ll gently enter the sea from the shore—no boats needed. Since the tour is completely private, you have full control over the itinerary: swim through the mysterious Blue Cave, search for sea turtles in their natural habitat, or float above colorful coral reefs. The pace is entirely up to you—no rushing, no waiting for others. After snorkeling, we will drive together (in separate cars) to a hidden waterfall nestled in Ishigaki’s jungle, a peaceful spot to relax and take in the island’s untouched beauty. Having your own car gives you the ultimate flexibility to enjoy the scenery at your own rhythm. To end the experience on a sweet note, we’ll stop by a local shop where you can enjoy a refreshing smoothie made from Ishigaki’s famous pineapple or mango. Since you have your own transport, you are free to head straight to your next destination or explore more of the island right after the tour!

5.00It was really good 👍 since we were new to the region, we always go into the water with local guide for the first time. Our guide knew his way around and certainly showed us the waters, cool spots and local sights. The communication was great. Also our guide took very good photos. A very good start to your holiday! Respectful water security was all impeccable.

5.00Amazing time with saito. He took us out to an amazing reef where we saw plenty of colourful fish and 2 turtles. Was an awesome snorkelling experience for an hour. After which we went to a waterfall to relax and followed by a local fruit stand where we tasted the local fruit juice made by a lovely old couple. Would highly recommend a private snorkeling experience with saito when you’re on ishigaki island! He also provided amazing go pro footage for us to take home!

5.00This was probably one of the best snorkeling private tour my husband and I have ever did! Saito was wonderful. We basically saw every beautiful marine life and corals. The waterfall he took us at was top tier! Refreshing after snorkeling. We also stop at a quick bite at a local cafe for a fruit bowl. Delicious! Highly recommend booking this private tour with Saito! You will not be disappointed when in Ishigaki!

5.00Saito picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back after the tour. This suited us perfectly, not having to worry about directions and parking. We had an amazing snorkelling experience in front of the famous blue cave, with everything provided. So many colourful fish, seasnakes, and then, we found a graceful sea turtle. After the ocean swim, Saito took us to a cool local rainforest waterfall for a swim. Great afternoon! Thanks Saito

5.00We had wonderful time with Saito, our guide! First, we went for snorkeling in a quiet bay and saw sea snakes, coloful fish (found Nemo too!), squids and other hidden undersea life. Then we headed to Kabira Bay for delicious, fresh local pineapple smoothies and afterwards dipped into a refreshing waterfall pool. We can highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Ishigaki. Saito speaks good English and also takes professional photos and videos during the activities. Saito is simply the best!

5.00Amazing experience. Book it. Taken to a hidden beach, warm sea, swim out and the reef is everywhere. Lots of fish, coral, colours. We loved it. So good. Also not just a snorkelling tour, we also saw a lot of the island within the same trip and ended up at a waterfall with no one but us. Our tour guide, Saito, speaks English as well which was a huge benefit for us and our terrible Japanese. He was amazing. Highly recommend. 5.00Snorkeling today – absolutely perfect! 🌊 He picked us up directly from our hotel 🏨 and took care of all the details the day before, so we could travel light. He drove like a pro with AC ❄️, explained the route (very easy, as we requested 👍), and made sure we spent exactly the time we wanted. He even took GoPro photos and videos 📸 underwater and above water, and spoke excellent English. The snorkeling spot was stunning, and we were the only ones there. Afterward, we had an ultra-fresh artisanal juice 🥤, followed by a cold freshwater waterfall 💦 to refresh, and finally got a comfortable ride back to the hotel. He’ll also edit all the photos and videos! Highly recommended ⭐ Professional, organized, friendly – an all-around perfect experience!

5.00Our tour guide Saito was really friendly and spoke good English. It was completely stress free as Saito prepared all the snorkelling gear, picked us up and dropped us off at our place. He also took plenty of good photos and videos of us. The snorkelling spot had amazingly clear water. We were lucky enough to see sea turtle, sea snake and a baby shark! Highly recommend!

5.00Wasn't sure what to expect when I signed up, but Saito was very punctual, professional and spoke fluent English. He happens to be an actual photographer as well so you can rely on him to take plenty of great photos both under and above water. The dive spot he took us to was incredible - crystal blue water, full of gentle marine animals and very beginner friendly. Very much exceeded my expectations!
