It is great way to see areas you would not necessarily find on your own. The sequoias in winter are spectacular!

We booked a private snowshoe hike with Krista weeks ahead of time. When we finally arrived at Sequoia National Park for our mid-February reservation, there was no snow on the ground. We pivoted and went on a winter hike (instead of a snowshoe hike) with Krista on a beautiful sunny day. Krista was a gem! She was energetic and knowledgeable and the perfect tour guide for my family of four. My 7 year old was car sick from the drive to the Giant Forest Museum. He was upset and didn’t want to go on the hike at the beginning. Krista completely won him over. She gave him hand warmers when he mentioned his hands were cold. She answered all his questions and told lots of interesting stories and facts about the sequoias and other flora and fauna. Her enthusiasm and love for the natural sciences were contagious. At the end of the 2.5 mile hike, my little guy said he had the best time! We saw mule deer, talked about different tree species and their seeds, and talked about the history of the park. She even got my kids excited about animal scat! We also took a break in the hike and Krista surprised my kids with hot chocolate. Not to be left out, she also made coffee with condensed milk for my husband and mint tea with turbinado sugar for me. I’ve been to Sequioa several times, but Krista made it stress free and easy. We loved the way she interacted with the entire family making it a fun hike. The private hike with Krista was a highlight of our weekend. Book her- you won’t regret it.

Everything you read in the reviews is true! Krista exceeded expectations and gave my family a perfect winter adventure to Moro Rock through the scenic and picturesque Giant Forest. Krista is a wealth of knowledge and her enthusiasm and genuine love for nature shines through. My girls learned a lot from her today and did not complain one bit throughout the 4 hour trek up to Moro Rock. Krista has an awesome and easy going personality, and we can’t recommend this tour and her services enough. She gave us an itinerary to explore for the remainder of our stay and even drove us back to our lodge because of the long shuttle lines. This was a top notch experience! Thanks Krista!

Krista made our Sequoia National Park experience unforgettable! From her infectious energy to her deep knowledge of the park, she brought the whole experience to life. Not only did she share fascinating facts about the beautiful giant trees, but she also surprised us with hot cocoa during a scenic break—such a thoughtful touch! The highlight was when Krista took time to record an educational video with our boys for their school project. It was above and beyond, and they loved it. If you're visiting Sequoia, don't miss the chance to tour with Krista—she’s truly one of a kind!

Thank you Krista! We had a wonderful time! Lucky us that it snowed the night before. Snowshoeing was an absolute activity highlight, but surely the real highlight has been Krista to explain us the phenomenal Sequoias, hiking trail nobody did that day yet, creating our own footsteps and watching + touching the fluffy giant trees. Seeing their different shapes, some burnt, some not, different colors of brown and red bark. It was simply great and our roadtrip highlight. Thank you Krista to make this special day! Krista’s guided snowshoe was the absolute highlight of our trip to SNP. She went out of her way to give us the best possible experience, chock full of interesting information and beautiful scenery. The conditions were perfect from a recent snowstorm. She was able to tailor the hike based on our requests and the equipment provided was great. She treated us to a hot drink half way through and we were able to pack picnic lunches from Totem prior to our arrival. Traveling with teens can be tricky, and this was the perfect way to hold there interest in a meaningful way and give them an experience they will always remember. I scheduled this snowshoe for the first day of our trip, anticipating Krista would probably be able to give us recommendations of things to see and do for the remainder of our week. She did not disappoint! This was truly one of the most memorable outdoor vacation experiences we’ve ever had! Thank you Krista!
