Krista made our Sequoia National Park experience unforgettable! From her infectious energy to her deep knowledge of the park, she brought the whole experience to life. Not only did she share fascinating facts about the beautiful giant trees, but she also surprised us with hot cocoa during a scenic break—such a thoughtful touch! The highlight was when Krista took time to record an educational video with our boys for their school project. It was above and beyond, and they loved it. If you're visiting Sequoia, don't miss the chance to tour with Krista—she’s truly one of a kind!

Thank you Krista! We had a wonderful time! Lucky us that it snowed the night before. Snowshoeing was an absolute activity highlight, but surely the real highlight has been Krista to explain us the phenomenal Sequoias, hiking trail nobody did that day yet, creating our own footsteps and watching + touching the fluffy giant trees. Seeing their different shapes, some burnt, some not, different colors of brown and red bark. It was simply great and our roadtrip highlight. Thank you Krista to make this special day! Krista’s guided snowshoe was the absolute highlight of our trip to SNP. She went out of her way to give us the best possible experience, chock full of interesting information and beautiful scenery. The conditions were perfect from a recent snowstorm. She was able to tailor the hike based on our requests and the equipment provided was great. She treated us to a hot drink half way through and we were able to pack picnic lunches from Totem prior to our arrival. Traveling with teens can be tricky, and this was the perfect way to hold there interest in a meaningful way and give them an experience they will always remember. I scheduled this snowshoe for the first day of our trip, anticipating Krista would probably be able to give us recommendations of things to see and do for the remainder of our week. She did not disappoint! This was truly one of the most memorable outdoor vacation experiences we’ve ever had! Thank you Krista!

If I could, I would rate it even higher! It was super interesting, we saw places we would never have found on our own and Krista was able to answer every single question we had! We are super happy we booked the tour!

Sequoia Guides and Krista, our actual guide, provide a truly excellent experience in the park. Krista has years of experience in the park and a wealth of knowledge about the flora and fauna and history there, the best trails for every visitor’s needs, and how to get around and have a great time and see the biggest trees and other marvels that the park holds. But she’s so much more than that! She is so energetic and knows how to get you just as excited about the park as she is. My partner and I did her Snowshoe tour on the Bear Hill trail and Big Trees trail around Round Meadow (if I remember correctly). She had all the equipment we needed and some things we should have had but forgot. Child sized gloves for a small woman? No problem, Krista had them! Snow is too packed to use the snowshoes properly? No problem, Krista had ice cleats to use instead! Feeling a bit chilled or tired half way through the hike? Krista had already planned the perfect spot to rest and had instant coffee and hot chocolate in her backpack and hot water that had been kept hot her fancy thermos! Krista and Sequoia Guides will make sure your visit to the park is just as wonderful as you want it to be!

This guided tour through the magnificent Sequoias was so much more than we could have anticipated. Krista provided sophisticated knowledge at an enthusiastic level enjoyed by grandparents and an 11 yo and 16 year old. She kept our physical pace at a perfect level while keeping the pace of information flowing. She didn't blink if anyone's attention strayed to additional sites, maintaining a fun and delighted atmosphere. We got history, environmental science, safety tips rolled into lots of laughter. Was it worth it? Just going through these areas is a real treat; going with Krista multiplied the experience, and was so worth it. Do it this way.
