What To Expect
1) After being picked up from your place in comfortable and private transportation, we'll head to the enchanting east side of Medellín. Our route will take us through the longest tunnel in South America, offering a unique experience as we make our way to one of the most picturesque regions in Antioquia. We'll witness a mesmerizing transformation in the landscape. The bustling cityscape will gradually give way to charming farms nestled amidst the grandeur of the Andes mountains, this transition is truly breathtaking, immersing us in a world that feels entirely different. Our first stop will be Alto del Chocho, a typical restaurant conveniently located along the road, approximately 1 hour away from Medellín. Surrounded by natural splendor and stunning vistas, this establishment is renowned for its mouthwatering "Pan de quesos." It's an absolute must-visit spot, providing an ideal opportunity to stretch our legs and indulge in the delectable pan de queso.
El Penol
2) Our next stop is truly one-of-a-kind and shrouded in mystery, the magnificent El Peñol Rock, a towering formation that reaches an impressive height of 700 feet. This natural wonder has held immense significance for local tribes spanning thousands of years, adding an air of enchantment to its allure. For the adventurous souls among us, there is an opportunity to conquer the 740 stairs leading to the top, an awe-inspiring panorama of the surrounding landscapes awaits you, offering breathtaking views that will leave you spellbound. If climbing the rock isn't your cup of tea, no sweat! You can still enjoy the beauty of El Peñol Rock from the base, where magnificent views of the reservoir and mountains unfold before your eyes. 5.00In July 2024 we visited Colombia as a family of four and had the most amazing time at the coffee farm tour all thanks to Daniel. The whole process, from A to Z, was smooth. Not to mention, Daniel kept the kids busy showing them how to harvest coffee beans and brew their own cups. We all had such a great time. We highly recommend booking this tour to any families that are after a great day out in Medellin.

5.00Hey there! Let me tell you about our awesome adventure in Guatapé and El Peñol. We're not big fans of those massive tour buses with huge crowds no way! This small group tour was just perfect. Our guide, Laura, was not only super fluent in English but also an absolute legend. She totally got us, our interests, and made the whole experience feel like we were hanging out with an old friend. Her passion, knowledge, and genuine Colombian pride made it a unique experience. Seriously, we can't recommend it enough. It's the perfect choice for those who prefer real connections over those packed tour buses. 🌟🇨🇴💃

5.00What a wonderful tour, everything was just perfect and well planned, it was a gateway to connecting with the amazing and unique local culture, the PAISA culture, like our guide Daniel thought us, his insights, his knowledge and passion for Colombia and Medellín were outstanding, we learned a bunch of Colombia's fascinating and complex history, and the small group size made it a more immersive experience, we were just 15 people on the tour and I felt so happy when we start seeing several big buses arriving to the Rock with 40-50 people on each bus!! Guatapé's natural beauty and charm, and of course our guide, made us really appreciate Colombia, its a gorgeous country, can't wait to take some more tours with this company, best of wishes guys!! 5.00What an incredible experience, worth every penny! Our guide Esteban was funny, knowledgeable and friendly, he completely loved his country and taught us so much! and what is not to love, the landscapes, the culture, the weather, the mountains, the food, make it an incredible place to visit, no wonder Colombia is top 3 most beautiful countries on earth! The tour went beyond our expectations, the small group size meant we had individualized attention throughout the day, there was no time wasted on tourist traps, only genuine immersion in Guatapé and el Peñol's beauty, we got back to Medellín by 4:00 pm, which was perfect since we had dinner reservations for 6:00 pm, and the other group tours were over 10-12 hours! If you seek something extraordinary, this is a must do and this is the perfect company!!
