Taroko Gorge
Enter Taroko Gorge through the archway first. This large archway, inspired by traditional Chinese palace architecture, is located at the south end of Jinwen Bridge where it meets the Central Cross‑Island Highway. Its six-character inscription, written by the famous modern calligrapher Mr. Wang Chuang‑Wei, has become the highway's emblem since it opened. Today, it also functions as the entrance to Taroko Gorge, acting as both a landmark and a popular photo opportunity.

5.00My partner and I had a great time on this tour. Even though all the trails were closed due to the big earthquake in 2024, our tour guide, Steven, was still able to show us quite a few good spots to explore and take photos. Steven was very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and didn’t rush us and let us take our time to enjoy the beauty of Tarako Gorge National Park. Highly recommended.

5.00Taroko is a must see! We were going to explore taroko without a tour guide but we were so glad we booked a tour instead. Since the earthquake, there are many places closed and the road is very precarious. This tour such an awesome experience and so personalised. Our guide's name was Chouly and she was so good, knew a lot, took lots of great photos of me and my partner and was so considerate. Book this tour!

Our guide was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly knew all the best spots for photos and local food. He made the entire experience smooth and comfortable from start to finish. 5.00Having private car tour was totally worth the experience, especially around Taroko with the windy roads and many stops. Our guide James was very prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant the entire trip, and also had many favorite food recommendations (eg hand made mochi). We also lucked out with sunny weather most of the day.

5.00This tour was a wonderful way to see Taroko National Park. I’d recommend doing this tour and not trying to see the park on your own due to the 2024 earthquake damage. Jackson was our guide and he was absolutely wonderful!

5.00This is a must do tour in my opinion, getting away from the city and out to nature was a true gift. Junior was the best guide! Showed us all the amazing photo spots, told us about the history, and gave us time to enjoy the scenery. Long drive to and from Taipei but with a personal driver and the beauty at the destination its absolutely worth it. 5 STAR TOUR!

5.00We had such a great experience on this private Taroko National Park tour. Our driver, James, was incredibly kind, friendly, and made the entire day feel relaxed and personalized. Instead of just hitting the typical tourist spots, he also took us to some hidden local gems that we wouldn’t have found on our own. One of the highlights was when he even got us handmade mochi, such a thoughtful and memorable touch that really made the experience feel special and authentic. The pace of the tour was perfect, and we never felt rushed. We would recommend this tour!

5.00Junior was a great driver he had excellent planned breaks and suggestions for our family. The dumpling lunch spot was probably the best meal we had in Taiwan! The gorge was wonderful with so many photo opportunities.
