This is a PRIVATE & EXCLUSIVE TOUR from Manila.
Start with hotel pickup in Manila and head to Tagaytay, stopping at Tagaytay Picnic Grove, 665 meters above sea level. Enjoy stunning views of Taal Volcano rising from the lake and capture the perfect photo with your driver’s help. Learn about the 2020 eruption, which sent ash as far as Metro Manila, and why Taal is one of the country’s most active volcanoes.
Next, head to Pagsanjan Falls for an exhilarating river adventure. Board a traditional canoe with two skilled local guides who will expertly navigate the rapids through lush jungle and towering cliffs. Swim to a cave behind the waterfall, and enjoy the thrilling “roller coaster” ride back down the river’s rapids. Tipping to your paddlers is optional but expected.
End your day with a delicious lunch (at your own expense) at the oldest restaurant in town, reflecting on your unforgettable adventure through two of the Philippines' most iconic natural wonders.

This is a private tour, accommodating a minimum of 2 per booking.
The Taal Volcano Lake Boat Sightseeing Tour is optional and available upon request for an additional fee, which will be equally shared among participants and paid on Government Regulated Boat Station (GRBS).
The itinerary is subject to change; Taal Volcano Lake Sightseeing and Pagsanjan Falls may be visited in either order, depending on weather and traffic conditions.
Picnic Grove will serve as an alternative to Palace in the Sky, depending on visibility and weather conditions.
Please bring extra clothing, a towel, umbrella, and hat for swimming or canoeing at Pagsanjan Falls. You may leave these items in the vehicle—your host/driver will look after them while you're on the tour.
The Pagsanjan Falls rapids are weather-dependent. In the event of heavy rain, typhoons, storms, or flash floods, local authorities may suspend activities at the falls without prior notice for safety reasons.

Tagaytay
Drive to Tagaytay City and see one of the most scenic areas of the Philippines within easy access of the capital. Taal Volcano Island in the center of a lake is easier to see in Tagaytay City, location of one of the most active volcanos in the Philippines. Less than 2 hours from Manila, Tagaytay City offers cooler weather and dramatic views of Taal Lake and Volcano Island.

5.00This was an incredible day trip with our guide Edwin! Booking the private tour was absolutely worth it since we had the flexibility to go at our own pace and take bathroom breaks as needed given it is a long day in the car. Pagsanjan Falls was absolutely incredible! The guides paddle and pull you up river through 17 rapids in a canoe while you sit and enjoy the view. The last 50 meters or so you transfer to a bamboo raft that will take you directly under the waterfall to the cave behind it. I don't know if it was just our luck but a huge benefit of the private tour was that we felt like we had the whole river to ourselves. Just as we were finishing a different large tour group was just starting with a dozen or so canoes at the same time. The whole experience took about 12 hours but it was well worth it. Edwin made the journey enjoyable, flexible and had great communication which made all the difference for the long day!

5.00This is a wonderful experience that yiu definitely should do. The boat ride up and down the river was beautiful. And wear a swim suit for the raft to the waterfalls. You don't go around the falls, you go inside the falls.

3.00The Taal Volcano is a stop for a site seeing that is beautiful but was extremely far away. Our guides suggested the boat tour around it and that was far better of an experience. The Pagsanjan tour read raft and rapids but was a canoe and guides pulling us up a river, definitely not raft and rapids. The canoes were uncomfortable and no where to hold on unless you were the middle seat. The Pagsanjan Falls at the end made it worth it but still wouldn’t recommend this tour as the description does not match the actual tour. Our guides Carlos and Larry were amazing and that’s the reason for the 3 star rating.

5.00Wonderful day, our driver was Flor and he was lovely, came on time, explained things and took us to a nice local resturant. The waterfall trip was amazing, and the volcanic lake was very interesting and beautiful. Overall busy day with many hours spent in the car, but was very worthwhile.

4.00I had a wonderful time on the Private: Pagsanjan Falls & Scenic Taal Volcano Tour (2-in-1). The waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking and worth every bit of the journey! The boatmen were incredible – so skilled, friendly, and funny. They really made the experience special, and as someone who’s a bit, *or a lot) clumsy, I appreciated how they made sure I was safe while walking on the rocks. The boat ride itself was an adventure - exciting, peaceful, and full of stunning scenery. I also want to give special shout out to my guide Allan, who was fantastic: funny, chatty, knowledgeable, and very easy to be around. As a solo traveller, it made such a difference to feel comfortable and at ease during the long drive and the day overall. The tour was well-organised, welcoming, and respectful from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience some of the Philippines’ most beautiful natural spots.

1.00We are extremely disappointed as this was the only tour we booked for our short stay in Manila and without any notification on the day before the tour, Esquieres Tour company cancelled the tour (I watched the tickets disappear off the screen and were replaced with "Booking cancelled"). At least, we were notified that we were going to get a refund.
Great excursion. I highly recommend. Make sure to read all the details!

5.00Great excursion. I highly recommend. Make sure to read the details, and know that getting to the waterfall is quite an ordeal. It was awesome, but we had no idea that you get taken in a canoe up the river to get there, take full note of the restrictions. They'll also ask you some extra info about the group going to that they can plan the right team to take you up there, the two boat guides work really hard to get you to that waterfall, be ready with some tip money! There will also be a stop along the way for snacks on the side of the river, and they will encourage you buy lunch for the boat guides. Make sure to have cash in local currency, many places did not take card payments.

5.00Our tour guide Carlo was great. He was on time picking us up from our hotel. We drove about 45 minutes out before stopping for breakfast at Mc Donald’s. We then headed to Tagaytay to view the Taal Volcano from different viewing areas. He was very informative of any questions we had. We then headed to Pagsanjan Falls where we got on a canoe type boat and had two men paddling. Once we reached the waterfall it was everything I hoped it would be. We then got on a bamboo raft and made our way to and inside the falls where we were able to swim and take pictures. This has been the highlight of our trip so far. Highly recommend Carlo and this tour.
