Your adventure will begin with a gentle 3 km hike to a stunning viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the Green Lagoon and Lake Arenal. Throughout the hike, our guide will use a spotting scope, and you'll have the opportunity to use one as well, enhancing your wildlife viewing experience.

5.00We had no expectations, but this sloth tour in was one of the best decisions of our trip! Our guide was a great guy and knowledgeable, he spotted incredible wildlife like sloths, monkeys, and colorful birds. The walk was easy and enjoyable, and we’d definitely do it again. Highly recommend this experience if you're around La Fortuna!

5.00I was traveling solo in Costa Rica and booked a tour of Arenal Volcano National Park. It turned out to be one of the best parts of my trip! Even though I went alone, I felt really comfortable the whole time. The tour was well organized, and everything ran smoothly. The guide, José, was awesome. He showed us monkeys, toucans, a sloth, and even a snake hiding in the leaves. What made the experience even better was that he brought an extra spotting scope just for me to use while he used his own. After finding the animals, he took the time to help me learn how to use the scope myself, which made it even more fun and interactive. He also helped me take some amazing photos through it with my phone. The volcano was a bit cloudy, but the views were still beautiful. The hike wasn’t hard, and there was plenty of time to enjoy the nature around us. If you’re traveling solo, I really recommend this tour. I felt safe, learned a lot, and had a great time.

5.00We booked the private Arenal Volcano tour and the night walk, both with Ademár as our guide, and it was the best decision. He made the volcano hike fun and easy to follow, telling stories about the area and pointing out animals we would have missed. Later that night, he took us on the night tour and we saw so many different creatures—frogs, insects, and even sleeping birds. Having the same guide for both tours made it feel really personal. We loved it and would totally recommend it!

From the very beginning, he was friendly and knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly and making the walk very enjoyable. We learned a lot about the history of the volcano, local wildlife, and plants along the way. Having the tour privately made it feel more personalized and relaxed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting La Fortuna!

Our guide, Lian, was extremely knowledgeable, and what I loved the most was that he offered the tour in both English and French, which was perfect since my children don’t speak English yet. If you’re in La Fortuna and looking for a personalized tour, the private tour with Lian is an excellent choice. He will help you discover a wide variety of flora and fauna at a reasonable price. A 100% recommended experience.

5.00Our experience was amazing. Fabricio made sure the tour perfectly suited what we wanted to see. He was very patient with our daughter and kept her attention at all times. We had the opportunity to see very interesting sloths, iguanas, birds, a frog and snake, plus a bat! We highly recommend it; without Fabricio’s Guide, we would never have found these animals on our own.

5.00Excellent tour at Arenal Volcano national park. While it's possible to visit the volcano on your own, it's definitely worth hiring Francisco. Without his guidance, it's hard to spot the wildlife hidden in the forest. Additionally, Francisco has professional equipment to help observe the park's flora and fauna. He speaks excellent English, which makes the tour even more enjoyable.
