Get a taste and feel of Bergen on this extended 5-hour city sightseeing tour run by a professional driver-guide in a comfortable car. We will be stopping at the main sights in the centre of Bergen. We will also visit some of the sights and museums located outside city centre.
There are 4 options that you can choose from. Please, see the tour delails.
Car on this tour is one of our Mercedes minivans. When only 3 people are going on this tour, we may use our Tesla Model X. All of our cars have Passenger Transport Licence. We have also shorter options available: 2.5-, 3- and 4-hour sightseeing tours in Bergen.

What To Expect
Mount Floyen and the Funicular
Your private English speaking driver-guide picks you up at your hotel in Bergen centre and your tour begins. First part of the excursion gives you an introduction to Bergen’s centre: we start this tour off with a funicular ride to Mount Fløyen (1050 feet ASL / 320 meters ASL) to literally have an overview of the city's centre.
Bergen
After the funicular we go on an excursion drive to the main sights, like the medieval Bergenhus fortress, Bryggen embankment, the Hanseatic quarters, the Fish market, the National Theatre, which are all located in the centre of Bergen and are worth stopping by and learning their history. On the second part of this tour, you have several options to choose from, depending on your interests and preferences. During a 5-hour tour we can offer following choices: 1. Edvard Grieg’s museum and villa Troldhaugen, Fantoft stave church and the Royal residence in Bergen – Gamlehaugen. 2. The Old Bergen museum and Edvard Grieg’s museum and villa Troldhaugen. 3. The Old Bergen museum and Fantoft stave church with a short stop at the Royal residence in Bergen – Gamlehaugen, if we have time left. 4. None of the above and something special.

5.00We had a great day in Bergen with Vlad and Anna. Our family group was ages 16-86. The process and communication for booking and payment of our tour was easy. Vlad and Anna met us at our hotel and accommodated our luggage easily in the comfortable vans they had arranged. Our day was packed with sightseeing and education on the area's past history and current history with any topic we wanted to ask about into between. Vlad is so enthusiastic and really tries very hard to make each experience perfect. He was also able to help work around the various mobility challenges we had with the older family members. The day really was great.

5.00History, spectacular views, an ancient Viking church, walking through Bryggen Wharf, and a museum! This compact trip showed us the old, the new, and many wonders of Bergen in only 5 hours. The Viking church was unique and seemed a combination of many cultural elements in its architecture.

5.00We hit all the highlights in charming Bergen. The ride on the funicular to the top with amazing views of Bergen. It was a rainy day but that did not stop our day. Our guide has complimentary large umbrellas to use. The Grieg museum and home was so interesting. Five hours was not enough time but we experienced the most from our trip only made possible from our organized snd delightful tour guide!!! We will be back to Bergen and stay days to enjoy the culture of the city!

5.00We got Vlad as our driver/guide and had the best time ever. Our group was late and he patiently waited for us, and then gave us one of the best experiences ever. We were a group of yarnlovers and he took us to 2 yarn factories, arranged a small tour for us there, showed us some waterfalls outside the city, stopped for toilet breaks and chatted and laughed with us. He was so knowledgeable and this was an excellent way to see the sights of Bergen. We can highly recommend him and this tour to anyone.

5.00Vlad is a great tour guide. He met us at the cruise pier on time, and his Mercedes V fits 6 of us perfectly. He loves Bergen and he tried to present all the best things about Bergen to us. He also made the best effort to introduce the history and culture of Bergen and we all felt that we were getting so familiar with this pretty city at the end of the tour. Well done, Vlad.
