A wonderful master course in history! The tour guide was spectacular - and carefully took in our list of events and demonstrations we had reviewed prior for the tour on the day's events calendar on the CW website.

While my wife and I were taking the tour with our wonderful and knowledgeable guide Will, I noticed the following. There was a crowd of around 30 people surrounding a “group” tour guide. He was shouting, no doubt, so everyone in the crowd could hear. I knew I made the right choice, right then and there.

This was an excellent tour for our family being 1st time visitors and not knowing what to expect or how to navigate. Our tour guide, Sharon, was awesome - very informative, personable & organized. As we walked, she pointed out key sites , relative historical facts and events and interacted with some trade craftspeople & character actors, thus immersing us into the colonial Williamsburg experience and time. We were motivated to experience more and extended our visit into the next day to catch what we missed. We highly recommend this tour especially to first time visitors unfamiliar with (and like us, maybe underestimating) the great experience Colonial Williamsburg has to offer.

We met Ricardo in the lobby of the Williamsburg Inn. We asked for and received and overview of the area, how to best enjoy Williamsburg and some can’t miss sites. Ricardo was well informed and entertaining. The tour company provided snacks and opportunities to sit and soak in the atmosphere. Great time.

We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Bambi. She was aware my husband was having some physical issues with his energy level and was so considerate of his situation. We thoroughly enjoyed all the wisdom and delightful insight she had to offer on Colonial Williamsburg!! We loved the tour and highly recommended it!

Ricardo was a joy to guide our group through Colonial Williamsburg. The tour was so informative, and he was so considerate that we, as seniors, had rest stops, water/fluids and a delicious, homemade Ginger treat. He was so knowledgeable and answered so many question we had. He was especially kind and made sure to interact with each of us. He is an excellent tour guide — especially how he individualized the tour to include the things that we each wanted to see and learn more about. He is definitely an educator and presents the information in a relaxed, interesting way. Highly recommend the tour, and especially Ricardo as an outstanding tour guide.

We booked the private tour to learn more about Williamsburg, and we’re so glad we did. Ricardo was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about colonial history. He tailored the tour to our specific interests and was eager to answer every question we had along the way. His deep understanding of colonial life brought the history of Williamsburg to life, helping us truly appreciate what daily life was like during that era. Ricardo also pointed out the best sites to explore later, making the rest of our visit even more meaningful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to gain a deeper insight into colonial Williamsburg and to better understand the historical context behind the places you’ll see.
