If you are staying in Santorini and you would like to see the best of the south of the island, this tour is ideal for you. South of the island includes some of the major attractions, places of archaeological interest and lovely villages. Take a tour with one of our licensed local guides that can guide you also inside Akrotiri!.
Akrotiri which is one of the most stunning archaeological sites in the world! This remarkably well-preserved ancient Minoan city was buried by a volcanic eruption 3,600 years ago. From his arranged pickup at the Seajets pier to dropoff at our hotel in Oia, we had a wonderful tour with Kostas. We learned about the creation of Santorini, the caldera, and the history of Santorini to the present. Ever sensitive to the needs and desires of our eighteen and nineteen year olds, Kostas varied the tour so we visited Thira and recommendations with his texted guide down the village path from top to bottom. We saw the beautiful beaches and had lunch at a delicious restaurant on the Perivolos Beach Ta Sixiva. A wonderful day with a wonderful guide. If Santorini is on your itinerary, definitely see it with Kostas.

The most fabulous tour & Kostas is the BEST guide we have ever had. His knowledge coupled with his delivery gives important insights into Santorini’s history, geography & culture. We learned so much while thoroughly enjoying our day. Highly recommend the wine tasting!

We had the best day with Kostas touring all over Santorini. It was a fast paced tour but we still felt relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. We saw everything we wanted to see and Kostas told us so many things we didn't know and would not have seen or learned on our own. Lunch at the Winery was amazing delicious and windy! Kostas took tons of great photos for us on our personal devices. Kostas was recommended by a friend and we were so glad we followed the recommendation. His van was spacious and easy. He was helpful and responsive. And he even took us to a few extra spots. Loved it all!!

Absolutely enthralled with Kostas and loved every minute of our tour with him. We were three couples visiting Greece for the first time and we had considered other tour guides but are so happy it worked out for us to tour with Kostas! Because we had already done a little exploring on our own, Nicoletta assured us that Kostas could easily customize our tour to show us new places and maximize our enjoyment and, wow, did he ever plan the perfect afternoon and evening for us! In addition to being friendly and fun, Kostas is so articulate and amazingly knowledgeable about Greek history, art, culture, customs, and current events. We felt like we were touring with a favorite college professor! He made each stop really come alive with his deep knowledge and local perspective. We felt so incredibly lucky to have him as our guide through the southern part of Santorini…a great tour seeing a variety of points of interest and learning more than would have ever been possible had we been on our own. He eagerly snapped pics of our group, teaching us some new tricks with our phones:)! What a fabulous experience and worth every penny! Enthusiastically recommend Kostas! He is a Greek treasure!

Kostas is the best guide you will find on Santorini & one of the best we've had on 20 years of traveling. Happily customized the tour to avoid crowds & tour busses, knows just about everyone on the island & is a wealth of historical & local knowledge. Took us to a great beachside restaurant, and even extended the tour for a winery visit. Don't hesitate to book him if he's available.

Our second time with Kostas, third on the island. We had seen the usual sights, but we had confidence, justified, that Kostas would create a great day. He did. A monastery and the village of Kamari - just for walks and views. Then a stop at Megalochori, and its cultural center: Symposion by La Ponta. Finally, whiz down to one of Kostas’ favorite beach restaurants: Ta Ditchia (The Nets). Shall visit with him again.

This is my second time using Touring with Kostas when visiting the island. It was an exceptional day with Kostas. His knowledge of the restaurants, island, bakeries was fantastic. Our lunch spot, we would never have found by ourselves and just the tour to the location was just so Santorini as you want to enjoy; no crowds. The winery was wonderful and so were the wines. And he even stopped at a bakery so I could bring back some favorite treats. When you travel with Kostas it is like traveling with a family member who is so proud of island and wants you to have a wonderful time. If I ever get back, I know I will contact his team again. Thank you for making it memorable!

Our private tour with Kostas included the Blue dome in Firostefani, a guided visit to Akrotiri, exploring the charming Megalochori village, and a visit to a local winery. Our tour was an absolute delight from start to finish. Kostas was an exceptional guide. He has extensive knowledge about the history, culture and attractions of Santorini. He shared not only historical facts but interesting anecdotes. He was very engaging, warm and friendly. His storytelling skills were outstanding, making the history come alive. He enthusiastically took photos of us in every stop. His guided visit to Akrotiri was captivating. Kostas skillfully painted a vivid picture of what life was like during that time. To end the tour, he brought us to a local winery (Venetsanos) with panoramic views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea where we had a stunning view of the sunset with a glass of wine and a delectable mixed platter of cheese, cold cuts and bread sticks. Kostas’s colleague Nicoletta was helpful with our inquiries. She patiently and promptly responded to our questions even before booking and after. Overall, our experience on the private tour with Kostas was remarkable. Kostas’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and warm personality made it a truly memorable journey. We highly recommend exploring Santorini with Kostas.
