From the moment we met, it felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a lifelong friend who somehow knows every hidden corner, story, and secret in the city. Abdul didn’t just guide—he brought Tangier to life. The medina felt like a living maze of history, and somehow he navigated it effortlessly while sharing fascinating stories that made every street and doorway feel meaningful. One minute we were exploring bustling markets full of color and energy, and the next we were standing in quiet, breathtaking spots overlooking the sea that I never would have found on my own. What really stood out was how personalized everything felt. Abdul seemed to read exactly what I was interested in and adjusted the experience on the fly—whether it was history, culture, food, or just soaking in the atmosphere. He also made sure I experienced the best of local cuisine, taking me to places I’d never have discovered otherwise. Honestly, I can’t imagine visiting Tangier without him. If you get the chance to tour with Abdul, take it—he turns a great trip into something unforgettable.

5.00I was in asilah initially just for a day and ended up staying for a whole week! Thanks for the lovely morning walking around town and learning about the history and the people of asilah!! It’s truly a quiet gem in the north, and this wonderful tour really felt like I am a traveller experiencing the culture rather than a visitor! I met some members of the artist collective and saw them live, making carpets, a calligraphy artist and much more!

5.00Had a short tour this morning with Abdel as our guide of the Kasbah along with a couple of churches. Very knowledgeable about the Muslim faith and the architecture. Would highly recommend. Ive come to the realization that local guides really do help in understanding the culture and nuances of a City/Country. Abdel El Maimouni.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Abdel touring Tangiers and his home town of Asilah. He is one of the best guides we have had. He contacted us before the tour to confirm details, he arrived on time, he had a wealth of knowledge about Morocco and was very easy to understand. He was very proud of his home town Asilah and his family. We even got to meet one of his daughters and sons and they made us feel very welcome. Touring with Abdel was like being shown around by a friend. Abdel we will always remember your kindness. Thank you for a fantastic day.

5.00We booked a private tour with Abdell while on a cruise stop in Morocco, as opposed to the large group tours offered thru the ship and it is absolutely worth it. Abdell is friendly, kind, knowledgeable and great for families traveling with children of all ages. We walked thru beautiful and historical cities, toured a serene garden, ate an incredible local lunch, walked the markets and rode camels by the beach. It was a great day.
