This is a legendary day tour to embrace Mongolia in a short time. The itinerary includes a visit Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue and the enchanting Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. After the statue tour, you will head to Terelj NP and enjoy hiking to the Ariyapala Meditation temple and Turtle rock. The area boasts unique mountainous landscapes adorned with rocks and forests. Meanwhile, you can freely choose your lunch break time and can have lunch on the route with traditional street foods at the side of the roads. Or if you prefer to have a western-style lunch, you can freely ask the manager to reserve in advance at the tourist camp. There, you will have a chance to ride a horse and camel. Beautiful photo shooting with eagles in your arm will be available throughout the national park. Our driver can also drive to your additional preferred places.

What To Expect
Our driver will pick you up early in the morning from your accommodation in UB. The first stop is the impressive Ghinggis Khan Equestrian Statue at the Tsonjin Boldog Complex. Standing at a towering height of 40 meters, this monument is the world's largest equestrian statue. The statue is dedicated to Chinggis Khaan and located in Tsonjin Boldog, where Chinggis Khaan found a golden whip before his conquests era.
Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
After visiting the equestrian statue, your journey continues to the enchanting Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. In Terelj, you will enjoy hiking to the Ariyapala Meditation temple and Turtle rock. Meanwhile you can freely choose your lunch break time and can have lunch on the route with traditional street foods at the side of the roads. Or if you prefer to have western style lunch, you can freely ask the manager to reserve in advance at tourist camp. There, you will have a chance to ride a horse and camel. 5.00We had a wonderful experience exploring the Chinggis Khan Statue and Terelj National Park with our driver, Batbayar. The trip from Ulaanbaatar was seamless and very relaxing, largely thanks to the super comfortable van he provided. It was the perfect way to see the sights without any stress. Batbayar is a professional and friendly driver who speaks English well, making coordination throughout the day very easy. If you are looking for a reliable and high-quality transport option for your adventures in Mongolia, we highly recommend his services!

5.00This is a must do for travel in UB. We came in mar which is a bit of an off peak but the snowy background was exactly what we came for. The walk up the Buddhist temple and the genghis khan statue was awesome. Our driver guide was Miigaa. He was patient with us and waited for us when we wanted to spend more time taking pictures or just a slow walk up the Buddhist temple. Always smiley and nice.

5.00I booked this as a solo trip and it was really good. Managed to see a lot of the scenery outside of Ulaanbaatar, and it was amazing, much better than what I had expected. I'd say book it to experience the scenery as staying in UB is quite boring. The tour guide Moogii was really good. He didn't speak much English but he always made the effort to converse and use translation for words he couldn't say in English and always try to help throughout the trip whenever he can. I'd say book this tour and ask for him if you can, you will not be dissapointed :))

5.00Had an amazing experience on the tour. Our driver Miigaa was so kind and helped us throughout the journey. Even though he wasn't a tour guide, he assisted us at each stop and helped translate stuff for us. He even helped find someone to open up the souvenir store which was closed so that we could shop. We went on a snowy day, and his driving skills were safe and skilled. I highly recommend it!

4.00We booked this tour a few days prior to departing, and the company was responsive in communicating about the pick-up location and driver information when requested. They also helped arrange dog sledding, but unfortunately, it was cancelled on the day, as there were no other customers. This information was well communicated on the messaging option on Tripadvisor throughout the day. The driver did not speak much English but was courteous and understanding throughout the tour - finding us when we were waiting for the museum to open, as we arrived earlier, and driving through the snow and ice to pick us up at the monastery. The driver also organised the different horse and camel riding experiences. Lunch at Glory Resort was fantastic as the facilities are clean and modern, and we even got to taste Uzbek food in the restaurant! Overall, the private tour provided a customisable tour with prompt online responses from the tour company and a driver who prioritised our comfort. The tour did not provide an English interpreter but there were English descriptions on signs at the museum and monastery. It was fun to experience the horse and camel riding, and we'll have to try dog sledding next time.
