What To Expect
Hacienda Coloma
This experience allows visitors to learn about traditional and sustainable agricultural activities in a rural setting. During the tour, participants will be able to learn about the cultivation process up to the coffee harvest. It also usually includes a delicious tasting of all the fresh products, especially a cup of Colombian coffee. You can also enjoy walks and guided tours as well as other activities within the farm.

5.00This was one of the best experiences we had. Jhon, our driver, was super friendly and a great driver. The journey to the coffee farm (Coloma Hacienda) took about 90 minutes, mostly on a very new and smooth highway. The hacienda compound was an oasis of calm, with lots of flora and fauna. For anyone who even remotely likes coffee, this is a must-do. From learning how the seeds are planted, to how the coffee plant grows and is harvested, the tour was an immersive experience with a lively and engaging guide. We were brought thru each step of how coffee eventually ended up in our cup. We learnt how to tell good from bad coffee, and it certainly gave us a deep appreciation of how special Colombia's coffee was. Lunch was not included in the tour price, and I was glad for that, as I did not want to pay for a random stock meal as part of a tour package. Based on Jhon's recommendations, we had a superb steak lunch just 5 minutes from the farm, before he drove us back to Bogota. All in all, I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone. Big Thanks to Jhon and team!
