We booked a private historical tour in Intramuros before dining, and it made the whole experience unforgettable. Walking through the cobblestone streets and learning about Manila’s past was fascinating, and ending it with lunch at Ilustrado was the perfect way to complete the day. The restaurant’s beautiful Spanish-era design made us feel like we stepped back in time. I ordered their signature Paella Valenciana and Callos, which were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Every bite felt like a tribute to Filipino-Spanish heritage. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we were comfortable after our tour. The service was quick, friendly, and professional. If you want to enjoy both history and delicious food, I highly recommend pairing a private Intramuros tour with lunch at Ilustrado.
