Seru Largu
You start the tour at Seru Largu, the most famous lookout point on Bonaire. From here, you overlook the capital Kralendijk and the entire southern tip of the island, including many of the places you will visit during the tour. On clear days, you can even see the neighboring island of Curaçao. At the top, you will find the bright yellow and white Millennium Monument with a white cross, placed in 2000 by Bonaire’s Council of Churches. The inscription “Kristu Ayera Awe Semper” translates to “Christ, yesterday, today and forever,” and the cross is visible from many parts of the island.
Lac Cai
Lac Cai is a local beach that should not be missed during your visit to the south of Bonaire. This paradisiacal sandy beach along the azure blue waters of Lac Bay has a relaxed end of the road vibe that feels far away from town. It is a favorite stop to stretch your legs and take beautiful photos, including shots of the small fishing boats, piles of conch shells, and the lone tree on the beach. Lac Cai is located in the heart of one of the island’s most important natural areas. The lagoon is part of the Bonaire National Marine Park, is internationally recognized as a Ramsar wetland and an Important Bird Area, and is valued for its mangrove forest, seagrass beds, and reef fringe. Along the way, your guide will share insights about this fascinating ecosystem and stop at one of the best places on Bonaire to observe flamingos up close.

Two excursions done with HopiBonaire. Bas is an excellent guide who knows a lot about the island and nature. Bas takes all the time for you and you get to places where you do not go with other excursions. He provides enough food and drink and you get binoculars to see the birds and other animals up close. He also takes pictures that are sent to you the same night. The excursions Enchanting Bonaire and Washington Slagbaai we definitely recommend at HopiBonaire Peter and Angela

This was the best tour of am Island I have ever had! They were happy to communicate prior. Punctual and very accommodating for my Mom who uses a walker. We saw so many amazing places. Salt flats, flamingos, went up on bluffs to look over the island. We saw parrot fish. The leader was so knowledgeable. Very friendly. He had fresh fruit and juice that he provided. We shared a lot of laughs. Please book this tour! Just amazing

We were picked up at our resort and driven in a comfortable truck for our tour. Sebastian, our tour guide, is extremely knowledgeable about the island and it's birds. He is funny and makes it very easy to spend many hours together. He provided snacks and beverages along the way. He made sure that we saw the things we came to see and added surprises along the way. We were specifically looking for birds. He knew every bird sound and by sight. He also showed us geographically important highlights. I would highly recommend Hopibonaire. This was our third tour with them and we plan on another next year. At the end of the tour we were sent all of the pictures Sebastian took of the day. Hopibonaire will enrich your travel experience to Bonaire.

We are very active cruisers and the main thing we enjoy doing while cruising is exploring. We have taken a private tour with many private guides in many Caribbean islands, but none that come close to the level of professionalism, education and personally crafted tours as the tour we took. We cannot express enough how much we would recommend this tour. There are other tour busses out there, and we saw them while we were out touring, but while they went to the crowded touristy spots, we were taken to breathtaking spots where our only "crowds" were wildlife. We learned more in our tour about Bonaire on our tour than we could have learned watching 1,000 YouTube videos. My wife and I enjoyed a private, AC cooled and extremely clean pickup truck that was comfortable and also able to take us to remote areas that we cannot express how amazing they are, AND still got to see all the other highlights that everyone else says are must sees like the salt pans, the flamingos, the huts, 1,000 steps, etc. We saw it all and were given the most thoughtful insights to everything we saw while we were seeing them. If you are going to Bonaire, and you want to see everything, this tour is perfect and worth every penny! 7 hours went by in the blink of an eye and we left wishing we had more time. We didn't need to get right back on our ship, so we asked for a restaurant tip and were given a place that was AMAZING as well. I'm honestly not sure if there are many people out there that know Bonaire as well as Sebastian and HopiBonaire!

This was the best island tour we’ve ever experienced. It was filled with fun adventures and rich historical information about the island. Our needs were more than met, and we definitely plan to book again when we return. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island. Tips (optional): - The guide was engaging and knowledgeable. - The pacing was perfect for families and solo travelers alike. - A few scenic photo stops made the day even more memorable.

Had a wonderful tour with everything included! Got a lot of interesting information while we were hiking, snorkeling or driving through the park in the pick-up. Seen all sorts of things and really packed those things you wouldn't know or see without a tour guide. 100% highly recommended, really had a great day! And definitely the perfect addition to your vacation to Bonaire:)

We were one Canadian couple on a private tour of Bonaire excluding Washington Park. We were impressed with the depth of knowledge and ease of presentation of our guide Bas. He was very attentive to our needs along the way. He was open to questions and discussion. He made sure that we experienced as much as possible of this beautiful island in the 6 hours we spent with him. He gave us an overview of the geological history, the flora and fauna and the human history as well. He very adeptly took some professional grade photos which he has since shared with us.
