What To Expect
Start the day at the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow land bridge that links mainland Greece to the Peloponnese. In antiquity, it marked the natural boundary between the two regions and held great strategic and symbolic significance. Since 1893, the impressive Corinth Canal has cut through the 6.3-kilometer-wide isthmus, transforming the Peloponnese into an island and offering a striking sight of steep limestone walls and clear blue waters. It's a perfect introduction to the engineering feats and layered history of the region.
The Diolkos
Just a short distance from the canal lies the ancient Diolkos, a remarkable feat of engineering that predates the canal by over two millennia. This stone-paved trackway allowed ancient ships to be hauled overland across the Isthmus of Corinth, saving them from the perilous journey around the Peloponnese. Walking along its remains offers a glimpse into the practical ingenuity of the ancient Greeks and how vital this shortcut was for trade and naval movement.

Huge Disappointment

2.00This tour was not what we hoped for and not what we paid for. Our guide met us explaining that his mother was joining us and hoped this was ok. We said fine, no problem. Turns out his elderly mother was previously a tour guide and she ended up doing the narration. It mostly consisted of places and stories of Ancient Greeks with very little mention of Paul. The title of the tour was Footsteps of Paul and we mostly heard about her personal experiences as a tour guide and visits to ancient ruins. Her son, who was supposed to be our guide, only drove us around and dropped us off and returned to pick us up when she called him. This was a huge disappointment for us due to the fact that our main interest was The Footsteps of Paul. It was a waste of our money and time

5.00Michael took us to all of the places we wanted to visit in Corinth, plus a surprise to a special church that was not even on the agenda. He explained all the sites and took us to very nice restaurant on the Acropolis. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00I can not recommend this tour enough! After a few packed days in Athens it was wonderful to get outside of the city to see the beautiful countryside of Greece! Rusian the owner and guide was amazing, and the best part is that this was a private tour so we were never rushed, or waited for others to catch up. We learned and laughed a lot of this trip. This was our third tour in Athens but our favorite. Some tour guides can be very dry, but we had a great time with Rusian! We learned a lot along the way, and laughed a lot too. Do yourself a favor and book this tour! Thanks again for a great day Russian!

5.00My wife and I had the opportunity to take this private tour of Paul’s footsteps in Corinth. From the very start of the trip I knew it was going to be a great day. Our Tour Guide Ruslan was at our hotel promptly with fabulous Sudan to ride in. His knowledge of Greek and Christian history was fantastic and added great value to our experience. I would highly recommend this trip to others, you will not be disappointed!

5.00Ruslin was a very knowledgeable tour guide and made the history of Apostle Paul and Ancient Corinth come alive on this tour! We very much enjoyed seeing the Isthmus Canal. Everything was enjoyable and he was very flexible with our itinerary. We also enjoyed all of the conversation and highly recommend this tour, especially if you are interested in Christian history.
