Discover the ancient city of Corinth, where history and faith come together in a powerful way. Walk through the ruins of the agora, where the Apostle Paul once spoke to the people, and stand at the Bema—the very platform from which he addressed the Corinthians. Visit the Temple of Apollo, a striking reminder of the city’s pre-Christian heritage, and reflect on the contrast between ancient beliefs and Paul’s message. This tour offers a compelling insight into one of the most pivotal moments in the early spread of Christianity.

Start the day at the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow land bridge that links mainland Greece to the Peloponnese. In antiquity, it marked the natural boundary between the two regions and held great strategic and symbolic significance. Since 1893, the impressive Corinth Canal has cut through the 6.3-kilometer-wide isthmus, transforming the Peloponnese into an island and offering a striking sight of steep limestone walls and clear blue waters. It's a perfect introduction to the engineering feats and layered history of the region.
The Diolkos
Just a short distance from the canal lies the ancient Diolkos, a remarkable feat of engineering that predates the canal by over two millennia. This stone-paved trackway allowed ancient ships to be hauled overland across the Isthmus of Corinth, saving them from the perilous journey around the Peloponnese. Walking along its remains offers a glimpse into the practical ingenuity of the ancient Greeks and how vital this shortcut was for trade and naval movement.

Ruslan is knowledgeable, gracious, and accommodating as a guide. He takes you on a walk in the steps of the Apostle Paul. The port of Cenchreae where he came ashore in AD 51 during his second missionary journey. The Bema seat in the agora where he stood trial. The shops where he, Aquila, and Priscilla made and sold tents. The street with the name of Erastus, the civil servant who would become a coworker of Paul. A highlight is the Acrocorinth fortress high above the ancient city. This was my favorite tour in Greece.

This was a private 1/2 day trip to Corinth viewing many sites relating to St. Paul. The tour itself was not especially religious in nature, but if you have knowledge of St. Paul/Bible, you’ll recognize the significance of Corinth. Dennis was our driver and he was wonderful! He was originally from Chicago, so we had no language issues. He made sure we were comfortable, assisted us getting in and out of the vehicle at every stop, and let us proceed at our own pace. In addition, he provided numerous tourist tips that proved helpful to us. We recommend it, especially silly if you are fortunate enough to get Dennis!

We’d give Nick a 10 out of 5 if we could! Our St. Paul Footsteps tour with Nick was absolutely outstanding. His deep knowledge of history, culture, and geography made every stop come alive. Nick has a true gift for storytelling — blending insight, context, and warmth in a way that gave us a whole new appreciation for Paul and the world he lived in. The tour was perfectly paced, well organized, and filled with memorable moments. We left inspired and grateful for this unforgettable experience. Highly, highly recommend Nick and this tour!

What a wonderful experience this tour to Corinth was - we enjoyed it so much. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and nice. We learned so much and saw more than we even expected. Do ask for Kos. We would love to see him again in a future trip to Greece - we think of him now as a kindred friend! Take this tour - it is a must to see the beautiful sights! Great transportation too.

We had a wonderful day with Ruslan! He arrived promptly at 10:30 in a brand new Mercedes and was friendly and very informative on the drive out to Corinth. Took us to the harbor in Corinth, the Ismuth Canal and scores of other very interesting locations. The Acrocorinth was a highlight! Got back to Athens at 5:30. Huge day, well executed by Ruslan & Co. Thank you!

We had a truly wonderful day touring with Nick from Athens to Corinth! From start to finish, he was the perfect combination of professional, knowledgeable, and kind. His driving was smooth and confident through every twist and turn, and he made sure we were comfortable and cared for the entire journey. Along the way, he brought history vividly to life—walking us through the ancient city of Corinth where Paul ministered with Priscilla and Aquila, guiding us to the breathtaking Acrocorinth fortress, the biblical port of Cenchreae (home of deacon Phoebe), and the impressive Corinth Canal connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas. His explanations blended archaeology, scripture, and local insight beautifully, helping us imagine how these places once bustled with trade and early Christian faith. Nick was endlessly patient and always smiling, happy to adjust the schedule, answer questions, or linger a bit longer for photos. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more meaningful day. Highly recommended for anyone wanting both comfort and depth on their journey through Greece!

Our trip from Athens to Old Corinth with Ruslan was wonderful. Ruskin was on time, helpful, and very informative. He ensured that we stopped where we wanted to and shared a little of history regarding the area and the sites we saw. The car was very comfortable and Ruslan did an excellent job maneuvering around tight corners and streets. We were amazed by all the sites we saw - the canal of the isthmus of Corinth; the relics of the old harbor, all the agricultural areas, the relics of ancient Corinth; the Acrocorinth fortress, and the many orthodox churches and monuments to St Paul. It was a wonderful 5.5 hours and I highly recommend Ruslan and this tour.
