We invite you to explore with us a city of flavors, colors and cultural expressions. A city that is part of the second most biodiverse country in the world, so you will surely find a juice or a fruit that you have not tried in the world, from curubas, lulos, cherimoyas, chontaduros, loquats, among hundreds of others, that will make an explosion of flavors in your mouth.
Then we will explore old Bogotá, and among its streets of colorful colonial houses, we will find stories not only of historical data, but also stories of love, wars, Knights Templar, ancestors and a culture that we have been recovering little by little.
To remember the times of our grandparents, we will try in gratitude to them some of the most iconic dishes of Bogotá and some nearby regions, and we will end the day as my grandfather did with his friends, with a good cold beer and playing shuffleboard!

What To Expect
Plaza de Mercado Paloquemao
FIRST STOP: We start the morning visiting one of the most classic market squares in the city of Bogotá, where you can try seasonal fruits, brought directly from the Colombian fields.
Museo del Oro
SECOND STOP: You will embark on a journey through time to discover The LEGEND OF DORADO, its indigenous gold and sacred lagoons. You will also learn how beautiful and perfect pieces such as the Pororo and the Sacred Boat were created through such an ancient technique used by the indigenous people. Entrance fee to the gold museum per person $2.5 USD (Not included). On Mondays the gold museum is closed. That day we can change museums or activities.

5.00Manuel was recommended to me when I was searching to do an overnight outside of Bogota. From the very first moment of our communications, Manuel has been very responsive, smart, funny, patient and invaluable. He listened to my wishes and put together two different possible itineraries to choose from. After I made my choice, scheduled the date, and got my hotel, that was about the last thing I needed to do. He took care of everything else. Manuel is a great conversationalist (he speaks very good English) and the very long drives were enjoyable. He is filled with Colombian information. I felt as if i learned so much from him. He is also curious, very fun, and is game for anything. I felt very safe the whole way. Our driver was amazing…and you need to be an amazing driver on those Colombian roads. I feel as if Manuel took me to the best spots along the way- from restaurants to vistas to the Volcanoes and other sites. I would definitely use Manual on my next trip to Bogota. I felt very cared for and that I made a new friend.

5.00If you're looking for someone friendly, flexible and thoughtful, look no further than Manuel. From the first communication right down to post-travel check-ins, Manuel was top notch all the way through. We only had a general idea of what we wanted to do in Bogota for 4 days, but Manuel helped suggest the perfect blend of tourism/relaxation for our itinerary, including some amazing dining referrals. We felt perfectly safe with Manuel the whole time and I'd recommend him to anyone without hesitation!

We were able to experience a wide swatch of Bogota in just a few days thanks to his planning and his driving/parking skills. It's clear that he naturally loves people and his city, I highly recommend him. (He's also very honest: we miscalculated the fee and he corrected us downward by a significant amount!)

5.00Could not have asked for anything more! My friend and I had a 36hr layover in bogota and wanted to really see as much as we could. Manuel asked lots of questions and then gave us a custom tour according to what we wanted. He took us to two great restaurants, showed us some real estate (my business) got us into an exclusive antique bookseller ( my friends request), we toured hip neighborhoods, galleries, met locals, and he regaled us with fascinating stories of this adventures in bogota. He is knowledgeable of the history, of the culture, knows where to go, can procure just about anything you can dream of. And his English is excellent. We hired a driver and ended up with a friend in Bogota. It felt like we had a local on our side. Because we did! Cannot recommend more highly. Bogota is a lot to navigate and Manuel is the perfect guide for ALL of it. Thank you Manuel!!

5.00I was in Bogota for business, and I wanted to explore the area after work. I had gotten Manuel's information from a coworker who had used him on another trip, and thank goodness I did! Manuel was professional, kind, and helpful the entire trip. He drove me all over the city, and hiked around a bit with me too! He even indulged me while I practiced my Spanish! I would highly recommend Manuel as a tour guide and a driver.
