5.00We want to extend our deepest thanks to Poppy for an unforgettable experience! She crafted a truly thoughtful and seamless two-day itinerary for our family in and around Edinburgh. Every detail was carefully planned — from iconic landmarks to hidden gems we never would have discovered on our own. We explored castles, lochs, monuments, Highland cows, and even made it to St. Andrews, Fillan’s Cave, and Denino Den — many of which were wonderfully off the beaten path. Poppy was incredibly responsive to our pace and even managed to add in a few unexpected highlights along the way. She was prompt, knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty and history of Scotland. Her expertise and enthusiasm made our trip truly special. We can't recommend Poppy highly enough — she’s a rare find and an absolute gem!

5.00Our day with Poppy from Scottish Odyssey was the highlight of our trip to Scotland! She managed to show us a lot within a short time, minus the crowds and touristy spots. We saw a castle, paddled across a loch, hiked up to a beautiful overlook of the highlands. We really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

5.00Our family of 2 adults and two kids aged 8 and 6 years had the best day ever with Poppy for our trip into the highlands on 29/12/25 ! Poppy organised us an itinerary to fit a bit of everything in - some things for us and the kids. The cherry pie at the Callander bakery was the best I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a few) ! The kids loved the fairy forest and the loch cruise was very relaxing ! Thelma, Louise and Haggis were the friendliest coos and the kids loved feeding them a carrot ! Linlithgow Castle was epic ! Poppy is a really knowledgeable and affable person. I felt like I had met up with an old friend and we’d spent the day together ! I thoroughly recommend Poppy for any tour of enchanting Scotland !

Poppy, our guide, was full of fascinating stories and local tips, and she even took us to a hidden loch that wasn’t on the usual tourist trail—it felt like our own private slice of Scotland. She knew the best spots for photos, and we ended the day with a wee dram at a cozy distillery. It was definitely the highlight of our Scottish trip!
