What To Expect

PRIVATE SHORE EXCURSION : As you are tendered in Villefranche, Nice, Cannes or Monaco, our meeting will be in the parking of the port. Then, we will go to Nice for a walk in the old city and of its famous fresh food and flowers market. Then, we will continue by the Promenade des Anglais in direction of Saint Paul de Vence. Tour of the medieval village built against the South Alps and famous all around the world for its beauty and also for its artistic influence and its numerous art galleries. It will be time for the lunch and I will help you to choose a restaurant following your wishes. After lunch, direction to Eze to admire the unbelievable outlook of Villefranche. Free guided tour of perfumes and cosmetics factory (optional), and Eze Village. At Monaco, we will stop at the Rocher, after having seen the outlook of all the principality. Promenade in the old city. Available visit of the Prince’s Palace, the Cathedral or the extraordinary oceanographic museum. Then, tour of the city, its beach and the Grand Prix circuit. Free time on the Casino’s square where you will be able to do shopping at the « Carré d’Or », to test your chance at the famous Casino de Monte Carlo or to admire the famous Hôtel de Paris. Return to the boat.

Tour Eze - Monaco : ÈZE : Visit of this wonderful village made like an eagle’s nest which offers a well preserved medieval architecture. Free guided tour in a perfumes and cosmetics factory (optional). MONACO : After a Monaco’s outlook. First stop at the ROCHER in order to saunter in the old city, the Cathedral and the Prince’s Palace, to be present at the change of the guard at 11.55. Then, tour of the city, its beach and the Grand Prix circuit. Free time on the Casino’s square where you will be able to do shopping at the « Carré d’Or » , take a chance at Casino of Monte Carlo or admire the famous Hotel de Paris. Half day Tour : 9 AM – 1 PM or 2 PM – 6 PM Departure & return to the requested place : Monaco, Nice or Cannes

We had the best day out in Monte Carlo, Monaco and nearby France with Alain. His love for and knowledge of the area were terrific. Seven friends booked this tour as a look around when we arrived on a cruise ship. Alain was waiting for us with a smile and off we went to learn about the beautiful area including the Formula One course, fortresses, the palace, cathedral and history of the Grimaldi family/monarchy. Alain also took us to Saint Paul de Vence and Eze - two must see medieval villages. An absolutely amazing day with a delightful local treasure. A tour with Alain is a must!

Alain was very informative and most accommodating in our itinerary requests. We visited the Biot glass factory and purchased beautiful memories. He drove us through Antibes, Cannes, and Nice before returning to the Ship. All the while explaining everything about the towns.and the famous locations Iike the Carlton Hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our outing with him.

I planned a private tour with Alain as soon as I knew we were going to dock in Villefrance sur Mer. Alain was on time to pick us up and with a smile. We took the scenic road by the water through Nice to Biot, the first stop I wanted to make. Alain went out of his way to take a very narrow side street to find a site I had read about. We took beautiful pictures in this tiny town. Next we drove to Antibes, my 2nd requested stop, where we saw the Fort Carre (Square Fort) and Alain parked so we could walk through town. It was Halloween and children were dressed up. We stopped for coffee, a bakery, the church, and enjoyed this pretty town. Once again Alain drove up a tiny street to help my friend get closer as she was using 2 canes. Next we visited Nice and Alain made it easy for my friend to get the Fiat photo by turning around twice so she didn't have to walk as much. We returned to Toulon where we said goodbye to our friend Alain. We recommend him as an awesome tour guide, safe driver and good friend now.
