What To Expect
Miraflores Visitor Center
During this tour we will visit the locks of Miraflores, where you will have the opportunity to observe closely the passage of the ships in real time, either on their ascent or descent while transiting this marvel of engineering. In addition, you will enjoy a documentary narrated by Morgan Freeman that recounts the fascinating history and challenges behind the construction of the Panama Canal, one of the most ambitious projects of the twentieth century. An unmissable experience to understand the magnitude and global impact of this iconic work.
Amador Causeway (Calzada de Amador)
This tour takes you along the entrance to the Panama Canal, on the side of the Pacific Ocean, following a route built with stones extracted during the construction of the canal. We will travel to three natural islands connected by the Amador Causeway, a place with breathtaking panoramic views of the bay and Panama City skyline. During your visit you can take pictures of yourself at the famous “PANAMA” sign with the marina in the background, enjoy the scenery and do some shopping at a Duty Free store in the area. A relaxed experience, ideal for combining nature, history and unforgettable views.

4.00I am a tourist from Mexico and took the Panama Canal and City Private Tour, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the beginning, the guide was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the country. You can tell that he loves what he does and that conveys it throughout the tour. We visited the Panama Canal, where he explained clearly how it works, the historical data and took us to the best points to see the passage of the ships. We also toured the Old Town, which I loved for its architecture, culture and atmosphere. The whole tour was comfortable, safe and well organized. What I liked the most was that being private, the guide adapted the rhythm and stops according to my interests. As a solo traveler, I felt very cared for and accompanied. It gave me time to take pictures, ask questions and even taste some of the local cuisine. I highly recommend this tour if you want to know the most important of Panama in a personalized way. Tip: bring blocker, water and camera, because you will want to capture every moment. Thank you for such a special experience!
