Buonconvento
Your local English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation for the start of your private tour, and travel south past Buonconvento and into the UNESCO protected val d'Orcia, past iconic postcard views through the most panoramic sceneries. Stops for photo opportunities are frequent.
Pienza
Visit a local organic farm to view the animals and to taste the pecorino sheep cheeses and goats cheeses that are made in their dairy. Taste the local extra virgin olive oil and enjoy stunning views of the neighbouring hills. Continue your tour towards Pienza, the famous Renaissance Town that was built by Pope Pius II.

5.00Our family of four (ages ranging from 20s to 60s) enjoyed a wonderful full-day private tour with Daniele. From start to finish, this was exactly what we hoped for when we booked the tour. Daniele arrived promptly at our rural villa for pickup which immediately set a positive tone for the day. His vehicle was clean and his driving was excellent, which was especially appreciated given some of Tuscany's winding country roads. What set Daniele apart was his expertise in viticulture, ecology, and the Tuscan geography and culture. His genuine enthusiasm and deep knowledge made every stop educational and engaging. • Organic Farm: We watched the production process and tasted the delicious cheeses. • Pienza: We explored this charming hilltop town at our own pace. • Montalcino Winery: The highlight was visiting this intimate, family-run operation where we met the winemaker and enjoyed wine tastings while learning about their methods and history.

5.00Daniele was a very professional, highly educated in viticulture, and accommodating. The company was very clear with their communication prior to the tour and they were able to alter our pick up/drop off point to diminish our driving. Daniele arranged a lovely day consisting of a stop at a local organic farm/vineyard which was an excellent educational experience. The boutique vineyard was the perfect ending for the day. This tour doesn’t disappoint.

5.00My wife and I took a Private Tour with Daniele. Daniele made our tour very special. Incredibly knowledgeable, highly professional and personable. As we drive to our destinations he gave us the history of Tuscany, the land, the people, the wine and agriculture of the region with such interesting depth. He brought us two distinct places in Tuscany, one for lunch. Wow wow the setting, the views the food! And to Pienza and Montelpuciano as well as an amazing winery.. What an experience. A must if you want to experience real Tuscany.. I will do it again, can't wait.made our two week trip👍😊💯

5.00Our guide William was the best, got a history and culture lesson on the drive which really enhanced our experience. Cheese farm gave us a look at all the work that goes into making great goat cheese. Wine tour was very personal, we sat and laughed with William and Gianni at our tasting. William was kind enough to stop at some scenic photo overlooks for us. If you are thinking of a tour this is the one to take. Everything was perfect. Lon & Jil

5.00We had such a wonderful time on our wine and cheese tasting tour with our guide/driver Mattia. He was kind, good-natured, and well informed about the region and the wine business. We had ample time to explore the small villages in between our tours. This was a major highlight of our trip and would absolutely recommend.

5.00Guglielmo (Will) picked us up at our agriturismo near Radicondoli and took our family of five to Pienza, Podere il Casale, and Montepulciano. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He had a great knowledge of the history of the area and communicated well. I can’t say enough good things about him. He was polite, considerate, and had a good sense of humor. We enjoyed sights and shopping in Pienza. We had a delicious lunch that included wine and dessert at Podere il Casale. The views were fantastic. We had a fun wine tasting in Montepulciano and then enjoyed the sights and shopping there. Guglielmo made this a highlight of our trip! I would highly recommend Tuscan Escapes.
