DETELS:
We are best to get started early to the make the most of the day – at a pre-arranged time your driver will collect you from your accommodation on the Sorrento coast. Once you have settled into our comfortable Mercedes people carrier, we will set off in the direction of Mount Vesuvius. Sit back, relax and take in the stunning beauty as we head onto the motor way. from Vesuvius the driver will go to Pompeii where you will visit this Unesco World Heritage Site.
WINE TASTING INFORMATION.Trying some of the most famous wine “Lacryma Christi” – or “tears of Christ” while you sample some local cheeses, delicious tomato bruschetta, and amazing hams & salamis. And of course, an amazing spaghetti with tomatoes grown on these very slopes. PRICE 45 EUROS PER PERSON.

What To Expect
Pompeii Archaeological Park
Your Private Driver before will arriving in Pompeii will make stops for you to take photos of the beautiful view of Naples and Vesuvius from the coastal road. When we arrive in Pompeii, we will stop for a couple of hours. The Roman town of Pompeii, on the volcano’s southern slopes, was caught unawares by a massive eruption in AD 79, which smothered the town, its people and their goods and chattels. preserved for centuries, the site has been, and continues to be, excavated, so as you walk up and down the street you can peer into shop and private homes, read advertisements and graffiti and generally get a unique picture of daily life in Roman times. if you like we can organize an Authorized archaeological guide (The Guide is not included in the price)
Vesuvius National Park
Our Private Driver will stop in the front of office ticket, from there you walk up to along the slopes of Vesuvius to arrive on the crater rim. The duration of the walk is approximately 1hour and 30 minutes.

5.00We were picked up promptly by Lello at our hotel in Rome for the drive to Positano. On the way we stopped to do a tour of Pompeii while Lello waited for us with our luggage. Our tour guide Francesca was quite engaging and very knowledgeable. We all loved her and learned so much! Lello then picked us up and maneuvered us through the windy road to Positano. We also learned quite a bit from Lello about the surrounding countryside. All in all this was a great way to get from one point to another with a stop in Pompeii along the way. We usually rent a car on vacation but I cannot imagine doing this drive. This was definitely the way to go!!

5.00A great day trip - would highly recommend this tour company. Massimo our driver was really welcoming and friendly, and great with our kids. We e were given plenty of time to climb Vesuvius and then had our private tour of pompeii before a well-deserved lunch at a beautiful winery! We also did the one day amalfi coast tour with the same driver a few days later and that was great too! Definitely recommend booking a tour with this company!

5.00We had an excellent day on our Vesuvius/Pompeii tour! Tina and Vittorio were very helpful in helping us plan the day. Our driver Ciro was very kind and professional, and picked us up perfectly on time. We were picked up at our hotel in Sorrento, and first went to Vesuvius where we climbed to the top and enjoyed the views. Next we went to Pompeii and were greeted by our private tour guide, Carolina, who was very kind and knowledgable. We really enjoyed her commentary and we all felt like we learned a lot! After our ~2 hour tour, we went to a winery on the foothills of Vesuvius for a tour, tasting and lunch. The whole day was a lot of fun and perfectly scheduled. We would highly recommend!

5.00Simply amazing day! Highly recommend Rosato - we had a 7 hour day with Vittorio and it was one of the best tours I have experienced. Arrived early, patiently waited, shared tons of information about the area, was entertaining and really looked after us. I have booked many tours throughout Europe and beyond… this was at the top.

5.00Simply wonderful !! We had booked transportation to and from Naples , to the airport and the train station for the next leg of our trip and did 2 tours during our week in Sorrento . Massimo took us to the amalfi coast which was so much fun and so beautiful and when we got back in Sorrento found the location of church that we had been wanting to see but couldn't find , also suggested a restaurant that was one of it not the best dinner we had during our stay ! Lello picked us up at the airport and also took us on the Pompeii tour and we had a wonderful time and outstanding lunch at the winery ! They knew so much of the history of the region and took us to so many beautiful places . We fell in love with Sorrento and hope to get back sometime soon . Thank you for a wonderful time !

Vittoria was in communication all the way through to the end of our tour. Massimo, our driver, was early and ready for pickup at our hotel. Massimo was a true joy. He was reliable as a driver and instrumental & flexible as our guide in making plan adjustments as the day progressed. But more impressively, Massimo made lasting connections with everyone in our tour group. He was expressive, funny and authentic in sharing his personal stories about his life in Italy. 5.00We were travelling with our two teenagers and grand parents. We booked a Pompeii and Vesuvius tour with wine tasting and an Amalfi Tour. Ciro, our guide in Pompeii made our trip to the site a highlight of our trip. He was knowledgeable, engaging and funny. His knowledge of Pompeii was well-worth the extra cost. Ciro, our driver for both days was excellent. He was knowledgeable, accommodating and an excellent driver. He went above and beyond to help our daughter look for a lost item. We will happily recommend this company to friends and family.

5.00The tour was wonderful. We were picked up promptly at our hotel at the designated time. Massimo, our driver, was friendly and he explained everything to us. Once we got to Pompeii, we were met by our tour guide. She was wonderful, very knowledgeable. She really covered a lot of ground in just 2 hours. She answered all our questions and knew a lot about Pompeii. After the tour was over, Massimo met us and took us to a Winery for a tour and lunch. We toured the winery inside and out and then were taken to a beautiful rooftop dining area where we had the most delicious lunch and wine. The views were amazing with Mt. Vesuvius in the background. After lunch we were able to order some wine, olive oil and red wine vinegar (the red wine vinegar was incredible, nothing like I have ever tasted!). Massimo then took us back to our hotel. It was our last day in Italy and it was a great day spent!
