Do you want to see Puerto Vallarta as a local and experience a private ATV tour that fits you and your family's needs? Come see the mountains, trails, rivers, waterfalls, and virgin beaches. The duration of the tour is flexible as you can choose how much time to spend at each place. This won't be a trip you'll forget.
This tour is designed for people without riding experience, we will give you an ATV operation tutorials and a drive test before we start our adventure.

Minimum age is 16 years with a driver permit
At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
A minimum of 2 ATV's per booking (single or double riders)
Bring swiming suit in case you want to jump into the river
Bring bugspray
Alternatively, you can take an Uber to our shop for a cheaper, faster and easier ride!
Passenger minimum age 6 years old
OPTIONAL... Community families from EJIDO EL JORULLO are asking for 3USD per ATV to keep the off-roading in great shape, please bring exact change if you want to help them :)

What To Expect
Xiutla Riders Ecoadventure
We meet you at our shop 15 min before your tour's departure time. After filling up the waivers we'll explain to you what and where we are going to go. The places we'll be stopping at and the control you have to decide how long you want to chill out in these places or to choose to ride longer time the ATVs on the mountains. We provide you with helmets, bandanas, and goggles for your comfort and security riding the ATVs. We explain to you hand signals your guide will be using to communicate with you once you start riding and how to operate the ATVs, to begin our adventure.
Faro de Matamoros Lighthouse
After riding Puerto Vallarta's side streets with amazing views from downtown, offroading the Sierra Madre's trails, chilling out on a hidden bar in the Sierra, jumping in into the Rio Cuale to cool down, we'll ride back into town to show you more nice streets to find the lighthouse. Here you can admire the downtown and Bay's view.

5.00One of the funnest times we had on our trip! We honestly didn’t expect it to be this fun, but it ended up being a highlight. Our tour guide, Franco, was absolutely fantastic—super friendly, made the experience feel relaxed and exciting, and even pointed out some cool landmarks and historical spots along the way. Since it was a private tour, it was just me, my friend, and Franco, which we really appreciated. We saw some of the larger group tours while we were out, and we were glad we had the freedom to go a bit faster and not worry about keeping pace with others. Riding through the mud and getting dirty was such a blast. The stop at a local bar was a great touch—I had one of the best piña coladas I’ve ever had there. After the ride, we had a tequila tasting at a small restaurant the ATV company partners with. It was just the two of us again, and we shared a plate of meat, beans, and rice—some of the best beans I’ve ever had, and I don’t even usually like beans! When you return, they offer to sell you photos that were taken of you throughout the ride. You can buy individual shots, but the best deal is to purchase the full pack for $100. Just keep that in mind—it’s an additional cost on top of the tour. While I was a little annoyed at the upsell, I also appreciated the memories, and my friend convinced me it was worth it. (It was.) Overall, I’d 100% recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again!

5.00As a first time ATV rider with a family, I was so glad to go with a private tour at Xiutla Riders PV. Sergio was funny, patient and courteous throughout the entire tour. He made sure all of us had the great and safe ride. As it was just our group, we moved at the pace we were comfortable with. We stopped at a restaurant called “Rancho Mi Abuelo” that is located in the secluded jungle, which is off the beaten path. I loved the setting there. Eric was our photographer who took more than 200 pictures of action shots. The photos were high quality so we were happy to purchase them. These guys worked so hard to ensure that we had memorable time. By the end of the tour, all 4 of us were avid ATV riders. Highly recommended as a family activity.

5.00This experience is AMAZING!!! Our guides were Sergio and Raphael. Both of these gentlemen were welcoming, fun, knowledgeable, and attentive to safety. Starting with traveling the streets of old town Puerto Vallarta and seeing how the people there live, making your way up towards the incredible rainforest, stopping for mango margaritas and swimming in the River pools there, having our best meal of the entire trip and having fun tasting tequila with Octavio. IT TRULY IS THE BEST SPENT DAY! Don’t miss this. The private tour is well worth your $. And let’s not forget the wonderful gentlemen who takes your photos on the entire trip…( can’t remember his name).. buy them…sooo good;) Thank you to all. A great team!

5.00We had an absolute blast on the ATV tour! Riding through the mountains was an unforgettable experience. It was our first time on ATVs, and while my husband had a bit of difficulty adjusting to one of them, our guide was incredibly accommodating. He allowed him to ride along with him, which really made the experience stress-free and enjoyable for our family. The scenery was breathtaking, and the guide was friendly and professional, making sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire tour. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Puerto Vallarta, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thrilling adventure!
