The Archaeological Zone of Cholula has three areas enabled for its public visit, firstly the Site Museum of the Archaeological Zone of Cholula with its three permanent exhibition halls; secondly, the route inside the tunnel inside the Great Pyramid that consists of approximately 280 meters of route in the same plane, artificially illuminated and without risks that the visitor may get lost, and finally the so-called open area of the Archaeological Zone of Cholula constituted by the ceremonial patios of the south and the west of the Great Pyramid of Cholula.
Templo de Santa Maria Tonantzintla
The church of Santa María Tonantzintla was declared a historical monument on November 11, 1933; It has four constructive stages that go from s. XVII to XX. It has a simple façade that seems not to announce the profusion of elements that are inside, presenting sculptures of clear indigenous manufacture in three niches at the front, and four in the tower, representing the evangelists carrying the message of God to the four directions.

A trip that allows you to meet Puebla and Cholula. Mariana our tour guide was great, offered us in detail the history of both places. Besides, we had the opportunity to take pictures, eat rich candy. Mariana has a lot of knowledge and a super nice character. I recommend it 100%

Tour was good overall, wish more time would have been spent at the pyramids but besides that tour guide was great and driver as well, food was the only part I would change as options where limited and was buffet style

Our tour to Cholula and Puebla was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Ramon, did an outstanding job—not only showing us all the sights but also explaining everything in a fascinating and engaging way. His deep knowledge and ability to answer all our questions made the experience truly special. Our driver, Enrique, was also excellent—safe and reliable. The entire tour was perfectly organized. We highly recommend this tour operator and would do it again anytime!

A friend and I took the tour to Cholula and Puebla on Friday, October 24. We were picked up on time (8:00 am) at our hotel. I believe the drive was about 4 hours to Cholula. Along the way the volcano Popo erupted in the distance - lucky break. We toured the outside of the pyramid but were told the inside was now closed to tourists - boo. Later we toured Puebla and had a nice lunch. A long day, but I wanted to see an area outside Mexico City. Our guide, George, was very knowledge and answered well our many questions. He also supplied us with snacks along the way - a nice bonus. Our driver, Arturo, was excellent - we lived another day. I recommend this tour.

Wonderful day escape from CDMX to explore the beauty of Mexico! Carlos was our guide and he was terrific! Knowledgeable about everything Mexico! Every question we asked, he always had a response for. Since this was a private tour, we were able to modify the itinerary to make sure we could squeeze in a visit to Museo Internacional del Barrocco, which is a must for an architect need like me. Highly recommend this tour! Ask for Carlos as your guide!

This tour had much promise in its advertisement, but it failed to deliver. The pyramid is 90% under the landscape, and you must imagine how it looks. Only a few portions are unearthed and visible. The ad also indicated that you could enter the tunnel system under the pyramid- that is no longer allowed and there was no under pyramid tunnel visit. The cities are charming and the people are very friendly. Most of the tour is spent on the road and is very long due to traffic conditions in CDMX. Disappointing at best....
