Charents Arch is located near Yerevan, between the pagan temple of Garni and Geghard Christian monastery complex in the village of Vokhchaberd. At first glance, the Arch seems to be the most ordinary and unremarkable, but coming closer, passing to the platform inside the arch and looking at the panorama, everything becomes clear – this is the best place to admire the great and sacred mountain of Ararat, to be in unity with it and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Garni Temple
The pagan temple of Garni was built in the second half of the 1st century by King Trdat III. This is the only pagan temple, which has been preserved on the territory of Armenia. After the adoption of Christianity it became the summer residence of Khosrovadukht, sister of King Trdat III. It was destroyed in 1679 by an earthquake. Parts, fragments of graceful columns and wall stones were spread around the temple. It is supposed that the temple was dedicated to Mithra, the God of the Sun.

I will start my review by coming for us during ...not before later!)) From the very first minute, a friendly environment was created, the driver was very polite both in communication and in driving the car!) Our guide was Ike, and he got to the very point of our preferences ... everything was casual, polite, understandable and with a bit of humor!))) the beauty of nature turned our heads, and when you realize how much labor it took the people to erect what we saw ... it's just unfathomable!)) We have had an unforgettable experience ... that everyone coming to this wonderful country should leave in their own ♥️!) Special thanks to Ike for the photo and video accompaniment(girls will understand me😉)....and for the opportunity to hear the national instrument duduk....and the beautiful voice of his colleague😍

It was an amazing day trip with Jan Armenia Tour. We called at the early morning and they accommodated our last minute request. We did the private tour from Yerevan - Garni Temple - Symphony of Stone - Geghard Monastery - Tsaghkadzor sky-lift - Kecharis monastery. David the driver was so kind and hospitable, the car was clean, with AC, comfortable and provided with bottled of water. It’s recommended to purchase the entrance ticket directly from the office so no need to worry to queue for tickets at the entrance, especially during busy season. Nelly the tour officer was very professional and would check on you during the trip. Definitely recommended tour agent.

Excursion booked at the last minute thanks to the availability and kindness of the agency which met all our needs. Enchanting places, enriched by Vahag's company: driver, singer, passionate guide and special person who during the tour not only answered (in perfect English) all our questions and curiosities, but also "gave" us unforgettable experiences . Absolutely recommended. Rating: 10!!
