What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
Picked up between 7:00am to 13:00pm in your hotel lobby. Then drive to Mutianyu Great Wall directly. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huai Rou County on the north-east of Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. Cable car can take you up to the Great Wall, you can choose to enjoy the hiking to the peak or stay to enjoy the beautiful view. Cable down or toboggan down would be more fun. At the end, you will transferred back to your hotel

5.00This Great Wall Tour was fantastic! We were picked up in a very safe, clean, comfortable vehicle and driven to our destination. Jeffrey was an excellent tour guide and very informative on all the areas of the Great Wall. He guided us to all the watchtowers we wanted to see. Absolutely spectacular day. Our tour was five hours by choice. We could have hiked a lot longer, but we’re quite happy with what we saw and did.

Our Driver Nicholas Wang arrived right on time to our hotel and messaged on arrival. Nicholas was a great guide for the day, was very friendly and accommodating and made the trip very seamless! Would definitely recommend Nicholas as a guide and Lily’s Tour if you are planning a trip to the Great Wall when in Beijing.

5.00Great trip with our guide, Lucy, and our driver! Took the double chairlift up and toboggan down. Hiked for an hour from tower 6 to 11 and back. Highly recommended to this tour!

I learned so much about China and the history of the Great Wall, and she explained everything in a clear, engaging way. She was thoughtful, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had time to enjoy the experience. I would absolutely recommend Lucy to anyone visiting the Great Wall.

He spoke very good English and shared many interesting historical stories and cultural insights along the way. The explanations were clear, informative, and never boring — we learned a lot while having fun at the same time. The whole trip was smooth and well-organized, making the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend Jerry as a tour guide for anyone visiting the Great Wall. He truly made the visit memorable.

5.00We have had an unforgettable experience with our guide, Linda. She shared her knowledge of Chinese History with us and answered so many questions for us. We toured the Birds Nest and the Watercube on our way to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Linda found great coffee and food to get us through the fun but strenuous walk up to Watch Tower 20 and back to 5. We finished off the day tearing down the mountain on the luge (toboggan). A fabulous day. Thank you Linda!! 🙏❤️

She was communicative, knowledgeable, funny, and helped us change our tour from Great Wall only to the all inclusive at the last minute. This was the perfect way to spend a day and she made it even better. Highly recommend!
