What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
Hotel pick-up at your downtown hotel lobby. We will then drive directly to the Mutianyu Great Wall, famous for its stunning natural scenery—lush forests and vibrant landscapes that transform beautifully with each season. Located in Huairou District, northeast of Beijing, this section is approximately 75 kilometers from the city center. As one of the best‑preserved and most picturesque sections of the Great Wall, Mutianyu historically served as a vital northern defensive barrier protecting the capital. You may take the cable car up to the wall. You can choose to hike along the wall to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, or take the cable car down or Chairlift up and toboggan ride for a fun and memorable descent. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

By Subway: Take Line 5 to Dengshikou Station (Exit C). Walk 50m (1 min) to the hotel entrance.

5.00What an experience today with Maggie. Today was the May Day national holiday and the crowds were immense. Maggie navigated us through the crowds and had us at our locations with ease. It’s not everyday that you would consider site seeing significant sites in China on a holiday but with Maggie with us, it was seamless.
