Mae Klong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market)
Visit the famous Maeklong Railway Market, one of the most unique markets in Thailand. Here, you will witness the incredible moment when the train passes directly through the market. As the train approaches the station, local vendors quickly pull back their umbrellas, fold their awnings, and move their goods away from the railway tracks to clear the path. Once the train has passed, everything is set up again within seconds, and the market returns to its lively atmosphere. At the market, you will find a wide variety of products including fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, local snacks, and many inexpensive souvenirs. It is also a great place to observe the daily life of local people as they sell fresh produce and goods in this bustling traditional market. Don’t forget to take photos of this amazing and unique experience.
After visiting the famous Maeklong Railway Market, continue the journey with a short 20-minute drive to the original floating market of Thailand, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. At the floating market, enjoy tasting a variety of delicious Thai desserts and local foods recommended by your guide. Experience the vibrant atmosphere as local vendors sell their goods from boats along the canal. Take your time to explore, shop for souvenirs, and capture memorable photos of this unique Thai cultural scene.

So many smells, colors, and sounds! The railway market is a photographer’s dream. Kay was very patient with us while we took a million photos. The boat ride at the floating market was a nice way to end the tour.

The railway market was interesting, but I personally loved being on the water. Bee was great and navigated us through the busy floating market with ease. It’s such a wonderful place to just sit and watch the world go by.

I was impressed by the teamwork between our guide Kay and the driver. As soon as we finished at the railway market, the van was right there, already cooled down with the AC running. They really stay on top of the timing so you don't miss the train. Great job!

If you want to see the "real"side of the area, this is it. The railway market is intense but so cool. Patrick was a fantastic guide; he kept us organized and made sure we got a good seat for the train passing. The canals at the floating market were so relaxing.

Guide Som was excellent and very professional throughout the day . Her attention to detail was excellent. Well organised to avoid the crowds. New the locals and who to meet which I find very useful to make a tour very useful.

Honestly, watching the train pass through the market was surreal. The vendors are so fast at moving their stalls! After the excitement, Bee took us to the floating market which was much more chill. We had some amazing mango sticky rice on the boat. Such a vibe!

Not too long, not too short. We saw the train, ate some great food, and enjoyed the boat ride. Annie was a fantastic host. If you're in Bangkok for a few days, definitely book this.

The railway market is literally buzzing with energy. So much fresh fruit and food everywhere. Tina was great at showing us the best spots for photos without being in the way of the train. The boat ride later was the perfect way to cool down.

We’ve done a lot of private tours, but Bee is on another level. Her timing is impeccable. We arrived at the Railway Market just 10 minutes before the train, so we didn't have to melt in the sun waiting. Then, she whisked us away to the Floating Market before the massive tour buses arrived. The private boat ride was the highlight navigating through the 'traffic jams' of wooden boats was such a unique experience. Bee is very professional and sharp, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. She’s the one you want if you hate wasting time or being stuck in crowds.
